Cute packaging, buildable color

I received a free sample of Benefit’s Hoola Powder Bronzer. The packaging is really cute- I like how there isn’t much waste. This is a powder bronzer that is light but buildable. It doesn’t have much shine to it so I like that since I lean toward more of a matte finish. I typically use a bronzer stick so this was a little different. I needed to add more product than I usually do to get the same pigmentation but that is to be expected with a powder. I am 40 years old and have some smile lines but this wasn’t cakey nor did it sit in my fine lines. I didn’t notice a scent but it may be light. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to dabble in bronzers.

Bronzer for the pale folks (like me)!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] First and foremost, Benefit always has some of the cutest packaging and this may be one of the best! It's also easy to pop open and there is a little mirror inside in case you're on the go. Being porcelain skinned, I have had to give bronzers a wide berth because even the lighter ones make my face look dirty or like I'm going for that early 2000s look that did not age well. Fellow pale skinned folks: This is it. Use a light hand (it is buildable if needed), but we can now bronze our pale little faces without looking dirty or orange! It's a little powdery and I tend to lean more toward dewy or glowy looks, but I just add a little product on top to achieve the look and it doesn't cause any weird textures or finishes. I've been using this regularly since I received it and I highly recommend giving it a try!

An okay bronzer

This was my first time using this very popular product because it never lured me in. First off , I was very unimpressed by the packaging component, for that kind of money it should be more than printed cardboard. The shade “original” was a medium shade that works great for bronzing or contouring. It blended well and wore pretty good throughout the day. I’m still not sure if I would use this over my other current bronzers that are on the same playing field.

Subtle glam!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I love this bronzer! It’s super lightweight and neutral. Perfect for an added subtle matte finish with a touch of shimmer. Blends perfectly with my highlighter and is the perfect color for my fair skin.

Good formula, shade range needs improvement

I have used this bronzer on and off for many years. I feel like the repackage hasn’t changed the formula. It’s still very smooth on application which is impressive since most bronzers seem to apply a bit patchy. This time I opted to try hoola lite since hoola is typically a little too dark for me. Hoola lite has a very yellow undertone and wasn’t the best match for me. It’s definitely somewhat usable in the winter and spring but past that point would be too light. I do wish the shade range was larger for all skin tones, it seems like it’s lacking across the board. Overall it’s alright but there’s definitely room for improvement

FRom setting powder to bronzer , this does it all

The Hoola Powder Bronzer has the cutest, eco-friendly packaging. It comes in a colorful cardboard box with a magnetic closure that keeps the product safe, making it easy to travel with. There's also a mirror inside, which is super handy for touch-ups when you're out and about. I tried the bronzer in the original shade, and it matched my skin tone perfectly. I love that I can use it both as a bronzer and a setting powder because it’s buildable. It blends really well, feels very lightweight, and lasts a long time. It didn’t feel dry or patchy on my skin, and it didn’t settle into fine lines either. The bronzer has a matte finish with no shine or glitter, making it perfect for everyday use. I also noticed it doesn’t have any fragrance, which is great for people who prefer fragrance-free products. The only thing I didn’t love is that it’s a bit too powdery. Every time I pick it up with my brush, some extra dust falls into the container, and it feels like a little product gets wasted. If that could be fixed, this would definitely be a 10/10 for me. Close but not quite

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really wanted to like this one as they haven’t had lighter shades before. It is lighter but at the same time the tone isn’t quite right for me. The formula feels really nice and smooth but it’s also rather sheer unless you have foundation underneath.

Natural Sunkissed Look

Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Powder Bronzer comes is super cute packaging with a mirror and is a great size for travel or on the go. The bronzer is highly pigmented and blends easily. The color “light”gives a very nice, natural sunkissed glow and did not look orange or give me harsh lines on my pale skin. It has a matte finish. Overall, Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Powder Bronzer performs well and held up through the day. It is great! This review was collected as part of a promotion

Iconic for a reason

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I remember this bronzer being all the rage, it was the go to bronzer. Then a million other brands came out with a million options and I forgot all about it. I wish I hadn’t! Having the opportunity to try this again has changed the game. It is the only bronzer that I’ve used where I don’t look orange. It goes on so seamlessly, it’s not harsh or overpowering. It’s like sun hit your face, not like you have makeup on. Truly so grateful I was able to get my hands on this again! Did I mention it’s what I’m going to use for my wedding now?

Benefit Hoola Bronzer is my go to bronzer! It blends nicely for a sun kissed look, especially on lighter skin tones. I have tried other bronzers but this is the only one I have purchased

Natural and buildable

I’ve used this product for years. It’s a great natural and buildable choice. Sometimes I even use it as a regular powder to add some tan to my face.
