Rated 3 out of 5 by KyndKrystal from On someone else This is a very crisp, clean, fresh scent. It's got a hint of citrus in it that shines through with the top notes when you immediately spray it. It's got a little bit of spiciness to it but not as much as other men's "aquatic" style colognes tend to have where it's pretty intense. This one is much more mellow and approachable. Also a lot of the time with those fragrances as it dries down the base notes can border on "wet dog" with their muskiness. This one however, doesn't seem to be that way. The base notes are more fresh than musky. I don't think I would wear this one myself (yes, I do wear men's cologne). But I would enjoy it on someone who's around me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dreamyone from GREAT ON HUSBAND AND TWO TEENAGE SONS... My husband had a sample of this, and he and two of our teenage sons tried it. While it smells slightly different on all of them, it's a wonderful fragrance. It lasted for a reasonable time on all of them, but even longer on one son than it did on my husband and the other son. Most of us know that fragrances react differently on each person, due to differences in body chemistry. While these smelled similar on all three of them, there were clear differences. It was lighter on our sons than it was on my husband. It was fruity, and woodsy on all three, but I could more smell the jasmine on one son. Regardless, it smells great on all of them. This is definitely a fragrance for me worth considering.

I’ve had 2 ex-boyfriends that used it and they both could ALWAYS have me melting just by their scent! Therefore, when my baby brother just recently decided to switch up on his cologne scent, (he was previously a long time wearer of Chrome as his go-to cologne), I immediately thought of Acqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani to suggest to him! Long story short, I bought it for him and now he’s a major fan himself! I would definitely label this scent as fresh, crisp, clean & modern day manly smelling. They have “woodsy”, as a descriptor of this scent, however, I personally don’t smell anything “woodsy” about this cologne, at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Used to be great, new formula ruins it I absolutely loved my original bottle of Aqua di Gio. It was a beautiful, soft, subtle scent. This made it smellable only to those closest to you. It was great. I recently bought a new bottle of Aqua di Gio from Sephora and immediately noticed that Armani had changed the old formula to make it more concentrated a smell. Now the cologne is sharp to the nose it's so concentrated. It's like, "woah, this guy is wearing Acqua di Gio," when it used to be, "mmm, he smells good." I don't even want to wear it anymore for this reason. Thankfully, I ordered Armani Mania with my purchase. It is now my go-to daily cologne. It is a nice scent pleasantly soft and inviting, like Acqua Di Gio used to be, not sharp and pungent. Please, Armani, change your Aqua Di Gio back to its original formula!

Un parfum qui fait parfaitement mouche, plutôt pour l'été, mais dont le premier défaut est une tenue insuffisante à mon goût. Vous vous en rendez d'ailleurs compte au fait que ses habitués prennent littéralement leur bain dedans pour qu'il tienne toute une journée (et du coup, le matin, ils sentent bien trop !!!). Le second défaut est qu'il est terriblement répandu chez les hommes, tout le monde le connaît et bonjour le niveau 0 de l'originalité quand on le porte. Je l'ai acheté quelques fois mais je ne pense pas que j'en reprendrai tant qu'il sera aussi porté par beaucoup de monde.

It doesn't scream strongly of cologne like the original Ralph Lauren Polo, which I appreciate. I would call it an aquatic fragrance and I can definitely smell the marine notes (not like the smell of the beach, but very fresh and clean.) I also smell a hint of something like grass...? But it fades after being worn for awhile.

I had never known any men who wore this before him, but once I smelled it on him, I could never forget it. He puts just a little on and people are always asking, "Who is it that smells good?" It is amazing. Sensual, mature, sophisticated, alluring, delicious ... I just want to keep my face buried in his neck whenever he wears this. I love my man even when he is not wearing this, but when he does, I just want to jump him and rip all his clothes off.

I bought it for my fiancee and the smell is just as amazing in person. As soon as he puts it on, I go absolutely wild, and it lasts for a very long time. It's not strong and overpowering like most colognes, but is masculine and subtle--and like I said, very sexy. We are living long distance at the moment, and I spray this on my pillows to remind me of him. All day my hair ends up smelling like him, and I get to think of him all day--it's great. I highly, highly recommend at least trying this product out.
