Not Great for Waterproof Mascara

I was excited to try this cleansing balm, as it is labeled to remove waterproof makeup. I have previously enjoyed using another balm, but it did not work for my waterproof mascara. Unfortunately, I did not find Sephora’s cleansing balm to effectively remove my waterproof mascara either. I coated my lashes and let the balm sit for a minute hoping that would help it break down the mascara. After emulsifying with water, I found myself having to rub my lashes quite a bit to get the mascara to budge and then was left with black smudges on my under-eyes and an oil film in my eyes. After a second cleansing, my lashes felt clean. I would say this cleanser works well for regular makeup, but it does not live up to its claim to remove waterproof. I did enjoy the light scent and feel of the balm. *This product was received in exchange for my honest review.

This cleanser remover is a must have in your beauty routine. I have oily skin and work around a lot of oil and grease. This has helped clean my face better after a shower. I feel fresh and it has a light scent to it which is perfect. I can’t have strong cleansers or lotions on my face.

A must in my cleansing routine

I have been loving this product, I always do a double cleanse, especially at night to get rid of all the makeup and skincare from the day. I feel this works the same if not better than some of these extremely high end brands. It gets all my makeup off and leaves the skin soft!

I’ve been using the Sephora Clean Skin Cleansing Balm and I love this one. It melts my makeup off so easily, like I barely have to try rubbing it in to melt my makeup off. Even my mascara comes off without me feeling like I’m ripping out all my lashes. It feels really smooth and creamy, not thick or heavy, and it doesn’t leave that greasy film that some balms do. It just rinses off clean and my skin feels soft, not stripped.

Your average cleansing balm. Affordable but I felt like it didn't deep clean heavy makeup. It kind of rubs around it and doesn't really melt. Doesn't really work with waterproof mascara and lipstick. Need to be cleaned twice. It did not break out my skin which is a plus

I’ve been using the Clean Skin Cleansing Balm for a week, and it’s become a solid part of my skincare routine. The texture is smooth and melts easily into the skin, breaking down makeup and sunscreen without much effort. It rinses off cleanly and doesn’t leave behind a greasy film, which I really appreciate. My skin feels soft and hydrated afterward, not stripped or tight like some cleansers can make it feel. It also has a light, pleasant scent that isn’t overpowering. I’d say it’s best suited for normal to dry skin types, though oily skin could still benefit since it doesn’t clog pores. The only minor drawback is that it takes a bit more product than expected to remove heavier makeup, but overall it’s effective, gentle, and feels luxurious for the price. Good cleanser

I was sen the Sephora Collection Clean Skin Cleansing Balm with Postbiotics + Squalane to give my honest review. I used the product a few times a week while having it and I'll say I really like it. It does a great job with removing my makeup but it also is a good cleanser in general. Its easy to rinse off but one thing I will say that it did leave my face a little greasy after use but its not the worst but something to note when using. I like that the product does not have a fragrance and its sensitive skin friendly so I would say this cleansing balm is great for all skin types. I have used other cleansing balms before and I will say I would recommend this product and it's also very affordable. This would be something that I would repurchase in the future for sure.

Great product

I love that this has post biotics and squalene in it, so it good for your skin. The texture is a little thick but it quickly melts down. I liked this also dissolves waterproof makeup. Most makeup removers make my skin feel dryer afterwards because I already have really dry skin but this didn't my skin actually feels soft. It's easy to use just scoop a little out with your finger rub all over your face add a little bit water rub your face again and then rinse off. It does have a slight smell to it but not strong, but to me after I rub the all over my face it smelled a little bit like Wax. I would definitely recommend this product especially if you have dry skin.

Soft clean skin

For someone who hadn't tried any Sephora Collection products a year ago, I am getting pretty well acquainted now. I have a few products under my belt, and my opinion is favorable. However, the Clean Skin Cleansing Balm is hands-down on top. When the seasons change, and it starts to get cooler, my skin gets drier. Some facewashes and makeup removers make my skin feel worse after using them. They will make my skin tight, dry(er), and uncomfortable. This balm does not do any of those things. It's so creamy when you put it on your dry skin, and completely takes makeup off just by massaging it into your skin, adding a little water, massaging a little more, and rinsing it off. My skin feels so soft and hydrated afterward! It feels clean and nourished. If winter is an enemy for your skin, try it out! **I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.**
