Black Opium - Eau de Parfum Extreme

Black opium Néon !

Pourquoi avoir supprimer le BO NEON ?? Le meilleur pour moi. Je l'ai porté pdt trois ans. Et il n'existe plus. Suis trop déçue !! J'ai testé les autres, bof. Celui qui ressemble peut être le plus est l'extrême. Dommage. Je vais complètement changer de parfum du coup.

Must-Have Fall/Winter Fragrance

This is arguably one of my favorite scents. It’s a lot darker than the traditional black opium and feels much less sweet. There’s an edginess to it that I like feels seductive on my skin. I get more cocoa and coffee notes in this (compared to the original) and it’s also spicier. Definitely a scent I enjoy keeping in my rotation.

I took a risk and bought this without testing it in store or with a sample and I’m glad I did. The notes are all things I like so I figured I could not go too wrong with it, particularly on sale. Upon first spraying it I was disappointed because it smelled totally floral - which is fine but I was expecting the chocolate and coffee scents people rave about. I was doing something around the house and thought "why does it smell like brownies are baking" then I realized it was my perfume! An excellent scent! Then throughout the time wearing it the scent shifted between chocolate, coffee, and floral. A great experience. Also the packaging and outer box are pretty. I’d be interested in trying some of the other scents from this line.

YSL Black Opium Extreme

I really like YSL Black Opium EDP (i love anything with vanilla), but Black Opium Extreme is my absolute FAVORITE fragrance. The coffee and cacao are delicious, and as it dries down the vanilla becomes more clear. To me, Black Opium Extreme is not as "sweet" as Black Opium.

Smells like the regular black opium

This smells amazing, but it smells just like the regular black opium. So if you have the original black opium don’t buy it. They smell different, but on the skin they smell and last the exact same.

Parfait

Magnifique parfum aux accords de café noir et de vanille bourbon fait de lui un parfum addictif la tenue est irréprochable l’odeur est envoûtante et la bouteille en elle même est juste un bijou a avoir

Disappointing

I was pretty disappointed with this fragrance. Was expecting complex, sexy, spicy gourmand notes but really just felt that scent fell flat. Kind of powdery scented and just smelled cheap. It didn’t last long, either. I was expecting vanilla and coffee, which are scents that I love, but really didn’t feel those notes came through. There are much better scents out there, especially at this price point. I definitely prefer the original opium.

Audacieux

Black opium eau de parfum extreme est un parfum original, addictif et mystérieux. Pour ma part, je suis un peu perturbée par les notes de café, que je trouve omniprésentes sur moi...oui, c'est réussi et bien travaillé, oui ça sent bon, mais non, je ne veux pas sentir le café, même si j'adore ça! Je salue tout de même l'audace et l'originalité de ce parfum.

They changed this fragrance- not good anymore.

I delayed in buying this fragrance, and when I finally bought a bottle it was nothing like the one I smelled in store years ago. This used to be a really in your face coffee and chocolate smell with cinnamon, and now it is basically the same as the regular black opium. It is way too sweet, I don't smell any coffee at all, and the floral actually upsets my stomach. I think it smells like hair products. I don't think it is incredibly offensive or anything, but I would never wear this. It is so BASIC. It smells like an inexpensive celebrity fragrance or something. Maybe it wasn't selling as well as they would like and they just massively reformulated it without telling anyone. Since I personally shied away from it for so long because it was so unique, I guess I only have myself to blame for not buying it before.

I love the smell of this perfume. It’s very warm and soft at the same time. It’s not too over powering. It made me feel sexy

Good

I love YSL perfumes and I already have the original one which I love it bec it’s so soft and sweet. This one is a lil bit different, it’s much more stronger and lasts long!

Loving this fragrance

I received this product free for an honest review. Oh my it smells so good and the design of the bottle is super chic! The fragrance is subtle but perfect and not too overwhelming. Yes I recommend it.
