Probably one of the best Valentino fragrances I’ve smelt by far. It’s a limited edition so the value you get for this already starts off pretty high. The packaging is nothing special that doesn’t matter. The dry down is amazing!!

Rendez-vous Ivory: A Limited Edition Gem

I was sent this product out by Influenster, but that does not sway my judgment. Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Rendez-vous Ivory is a fantastic fragrance that immediately impressed me with its fresh, woody, and sweet profile. The opening is noticeably sweeter than any other Uomo I’ve tried, which at first caught me off guard, but it actually works beautifully alongside the smokey and woodsy notes. This duality makes it a very versatile scent: bright, slightly floral, and fresh enough for spring and summer, while the smokey sweetness makes it perfectly wearable in autumn and winter. Performance is solid, leaning more toward a refined presence than a powerhouse. I get 5–6 hours of good projection with a nice moderate strength that sits comfortably within arm’s length, followed by another couple of hours closer to the skin. The smokiness helps the fragrance leave a smooth, elegant sillage, and as the sweetness fades, the woodsy base keeps it grounded and wearable. Presentation is another highlight. The iconic Born in Roma bottle design stands out even more in white with a gold cap, giving it a clean, sophisticated look that feels like a collector’s piece. Overall, Rendez-vous Ivory is phenomenal and arguably one of the most versatile fragrances in the Uomo line. While Uomo Intense still edges it out in raw power and balance, Ivory takes the crown for adaptability across seasons. Considering it’s limited edition, I’m glad to have it in my collection—a standout release that earns a strong 4.5 stars.

Nice scent, would buy again.

Really nice smokey marshmallow scent. Perfect for fall weather and could even wear in spring. Seems to last throughout the day on clothes but is not overpowering.

Spring and Autumn Banger

I love most of the Valentino fragrances but this one I liked especially. The smokiness added to the Valentino DNA smells great to me and I always get compliments .

The limited edition Valentinos always hit! I enjoyed this one so much I had to buy it before it was gone. This aromatic, smokey, woody, scent is perfect for fall or winter. I would see using this on a summer night as well. The projection is so good and I get a good amount of hours with this fragrance. I love how unique this one is compared to the other Umos. Smells like roasting marshmallows on a open fire but, without the sweetness. Umo Born In Roma Ivory is easily one of my favorite mens Valentinos to ever exist!

Very good Valentino, can never go wrong with this

I already love Valentino’s presentation so my first impression of the bottle was amazing. Smells so beautiful with floral notes. You can wear it daily.

Best cologne or perfume ever

This is now become my favorite cologne. It smells amazing. It can also be referred to as a perfume for women because the center is so great both men and women should wear it. I highly recommend it and I hope everyone enjoys it.

A nice plus one for a smart casual or dressier out

When you spray it at first, it feels a bit overpowering. But once you let it “simmer”, it’s a nice fragrance for when you want to step out. It leans toward the flagrant scents but it’s just below the feeling of it’s too much. As my one liner hints, I prefer it for a smart casual type of outfit/outing or some. It adds a nice flair to a calm outing.

Interesting, very nice.

This one’s a weird but interesting vibe, kinda smoky, aromatic, and fresh all at once with bergamot up front and a gentle fireplace/woodsmoke feel underneath. It’s not loud or crazy sweet, more intimate and subtle, so you won’t be drowning everyone in scent. Great for compliments!
