Awful since change

I ve used the powder foundation for years, after trying numerous other brands and never finding a great shade. I tried EstÈe Lauder and was hooked until recently, I reordered my usual colour of Peeble and when it came I knew instantly that it was a different shade, when I put against my old one I couldn't believe the difference. I went into store and spoke to a beauty rep who then match me with a different shade of pure beige, trusting her choice I purchased and tried at home and couldn't believe the orange tone it had it was awful, I continued to try it thinking I would get used to it, as didn't want to waste my money. But have given in today and gone back and again spoken to a beauty rep who has now suggested a different shade. I have not used it as yet but I am very hesitant as if your beauty reps can't get it right then something is seriously wrong. I don't know what you have done to the pigmentation but it is awful, I will be taking back for a refund this time if I use its couple of times and it isn't the right shade as this is now the 3rd time I will be out of pocket. I would suggest you think very carefully on shad bride purchasing.

Why change a good thing

I thought I was going mad until reading the comments, why on earth would you change formula on a good thing. The new one is not innovative or good technology! It seems someone is cutting manufacturing costs but keeping the price high for consumers! I don't like greed and I don't like my favourite product changing, really saddened by this cos I loved this powder and now it's all loose and more orange than the previous shade! Been wondering for a while using the last one I bought what's wrong with it, to the point I thought I had bought a bad copy of it! Please I beg you to sort this issue and change it back!!!!

They've changed the product - it's awful now

This has been my HOLY GRAIL of products for over ten years. However, they've now changed the formula and it's much more creamy so is entirely different. It sits in creases and fine lines and is very cakey. I am so upset and disappointed. This was my absolutely go to product.

A brilliant product ruined

I have used Estee Lauder including Double Wear for decades. I've always loved the products and the gift sets have always been on my Christmas wish list. But, since they've changed the formula for this foundation it's been terrible. The cover isn't the same, the colour has changed and after only a couple of hours it's melting off my face! So disappointed. I will not be using it again and neither can I recommend it now to anyone else. Why they decided to change something that was so good is beyond me

Colour change issue

So disappointed.. being using this product for 5 years now and absolutely love it, until recently they have changed their formula and the colour is completely wrong.. I always use 2n1 desert beige and with the new formula it's almost 2 shades lighter and doesn't match my skin tone at all anymore. To also add to the upset, I had completely ran out so used it today (although too light for my skin tone) and it separated horrendously and looked cakey after about an hour of being applied. Going to have to find a new brand :(

Too orange

This is way to orange. Makes you look like you have a fake tan. Definitely recommend going to a store to try it on. However, not many of Estee's physical counters have the full range of colours for you to try on so you are stuck buying it online. Not great! But love the texture of the powder foundation. Convenient form of foundation for holidays.

Un indispensable pour un teint unifié et naturel.

Je suis vraiment ravie de ce fond de teint poudre ! La tenue est excellente, il reste en place toute la journée sans bouger, même par temps chaud ou en fin de journée. Il offre un fini mat naturel, sans effet masque, et contrôle parfaitement la brillance. La teinte est parfaitement adaptée à ma carnation, elle se fond bien à la peau et unifie le teint tout en légèreté. La couvrance est modulable, ce qui permet un résultat naturel. La boîte avec l’éponge et le miroir est très belle et facilement transportable dans son sac et faire des retouches.

Une poudre très facile à appliquer et qui tient bien sur la journée .la packaging est top car tout est à porté de main miroir et l’éponge pour appliquer .un très bon produit à mettre dans sa trousse beauté

Shades not matching across products

Was colour matched in store as 1N0 perfect match very happy powder wasnt in stock so ordered the powder in 1N0 here. Powder arrived my fault for not checking but quickly dabbed some on my oily spots without a mirror catch a look at my reflection later and why is 1N0 DW powder pink compared to the DW liquid

Ne convient pas à mon type de peau !

Fidèle à la marque, le packaging est sobre, luxueux et très élégant. Malgrés ça j'ai pas été convaincu . Le fini mat, ne flatte pas ma peau qui commence à devenir plus mature et qui est plutôt sèche. Le rendu manque de naturel, n’apporte pas l’effet lissant espéré et me fait ressortir tous mes petits complexes même avec une bonne hydration. L’application m’a également paru compliquée : la texture ne se fond pas uniformément et nécessite beaucoup d’efforts pour obtenir un résultat à peu près homogène. Je trouve que la couvrante est moyenne, il faut vraiment y retourner plusieurs fois pour avoir une bonne couvrance ! Un produit peut-être plus adapté aux peaux jeunes et mixtes, mais qui ne semble pas convenir à mon type de peau.

Parfaite

Une jolie découverte, cette poudre est géniale. Ma peau est unifie,la couleurs est jolie,pas de traces pas de gras. Elle tient parfaitement toute la journée

Une promesse waterproof tenue !

Ce bel objet est un des premiers qui promet un teint waterproof… je n’y croyais pas, mais la promesse est tenue. La tenue est incroyable même au bord de la piscine. Au delà de cela, il flotte les pores et matifie à la perfection. Le design du poudrier est superbe.
