I was excited to smell this. Best one out of the bunch. I need this in full size. It literally smells like a literal creamy matcha drink. Very balanced. You get the true matcha but also you get hit with a little sweetness. I am so glad I bought this!

Missed my marks

I really wanted to like this. I own quite a few Kalayi perfumes but this just wasn't it. I enjoy gourmand and tea scents but this missed the mark on both fronts for me. The sweet was sweeting too hard. It overpowered the matcha scent for me which was more latte than tea (I think they marketed as such, so my bad for not paying attention). For context, I own Kilian Princess and Sorce's Matcha Made in Heaven (which this smells most similar to but less toothachy). If you're looking for a refreshing burst of tea in a gourmand (which I was), this isn't it. If you like your scent to be sticky sweet - this may work for you, but it just wasn't my cup of tea (cue drums). Pro tip: If you have a milk scent and Kilian Princess you can certainly layer to get the same effect to save you some $$. Think: DedCool's Mochi Milk + Kilian Princess- for a less cloying effect. Which I've done and LOVE! This also helps with the longevity of both since you don't need to spray as much of either (2 sprays of each, can help maximize and increase longevity of travel editions). Scent profile: 2/10 (uninspired) Longevity: 5/10 (about 4-6hrs on my skin)

It was alright. It smells more like an earthy vanilla instead of an earthy musk. It smells similar to crème vanille by le monde gourmand with a little hint of matcha in the background. I ended up returning.

love at first sniff

I was nervous this was going to smell too literal but was pleasantly surprised. its a beautiful creamy and at the same time eathy fragrance. I really like this one. wish it lasted a little longer but overall a beautiful scent.

my new signature scent

i am absolutely in love with this fragrance! this is my first kayali perfume and i am obsessed and so excited to try other scents! this one in particular tho is smth else. its so creamy while also smelling clean but also earthy. 10/10

It’s a big no

I normally love Kayali but this scent along with the other drops is not it. I found this scent gross and not nice at all. Don’t recommend

This Freedom Musk Matcha from Kayali is a perfect blend of earthy and creamy. It’s great to wear as a daytime scent, long lasting and dries as a sweet and musky scent. Love wearing it to work and how not overpowering it is,

It had to grow on me because it’s so different. I like the dry down a lot.

Holy moly!!! I did not expect to like this one so much. It is such a distinctive smell but also so addicting! It’s like chocolate meets matcha but also luxurious! I find myself smelling myself constantly. This scent is even better in the cold winter which makes it smell richer! I smelled the whole new line that came with this and I think this is the best out of all of them! Kayali PLEASEEEE make it in a bigger size.
