The Fenty Beauty Invisimatte Instant Setting + Blotting Powder is a must-have for anyone with oily or combination skin. It instantly removes shine, blurs pores, and leaves a soft matte finish without looking cakey or changing your foundation color. The formula is talc-free, vegan, and truly invisible on all skin tones. I love that it comes in a sleek, refillable compact that’s perfect for touch-ups throughout the day. The only downside is that it can look slightly powdery if you apply too much, but overall it’s one of the best setting and blotting powders I’ve tried.

Hydrating and blurring!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Wow!!! I generally skip the powders because my skin is so dry and uneven texturally that I shy away from powders. I’m always so afraid it’s going to settle in my fine lines and wrinkles, make my skin super dry and cakey while aging me. I started by using a light amount and patted it onto my skin. I was able to achieve the level of coverage I was looking for and was so surprised by how hydrated my skin felt. I loved how long lasting my complexion products gave me and extended wear for HOURS! I could definitely notice how blurring and concealed my rough patches quite a bit! The puff that this comes with is so cute and comfortable for all those tiny places of the face. I didn’t notice any scent and was a comfortable matte finish. I’m so in love with the packaging and especially the care taken from the shape of this compact. Definitely long nail approved!!! The powder is so soft and I couldn’t be any happier with my results.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I thought the Invisimatte Instant Setting + Blotting Powder was only sufficient. It did set my makeup, blur my pores a little, and cut down on most shine or oil. However, I noticed that I needed to reapply this powder more frequently than the other Fenty loose powder I use. I was a bit disappointed. Things I loved- There's no smell and it's vegan. The powder is super-fine and doesn't cause white cast orflashback. It makes my makeup look matte. The mini version is adorable and it fits easily into a purse or pocket for quick touch-ups. Things I didn't like- I don't know if the issue was specific to the one I received, but the powder had a nickle sized section of hard pan straight out of the packaging. This made getting an even distribution on the sponge difficult.

For oily skin only- not dry or combo skin friendly

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have combinationation skin- typically dryer around my chin and very oily everywhere else! Typically I use 2 powders, one to set and one more for coverage which is creamier. Packaging is sleek and the small powder puff in this travel size is great for under eyes and spot powdering if you have combo skin. This powder has a faint pink tint but applies colourless. As someone with a medium-deep skin tone (Nars Tahoe is my perfect match) it didn’t leave a grey cast under my eyes but around my mouth (where most women tend to have hyperpigmentation) it did. When I first applied this, it clung to dry spots I didn’t even know I had (around my nose and under my eyes) - but after 10-15 minutes as my oils came to surface the dry spots disappeared and the powder blended out to a nice soft finish. If you have very oily skin and absolutely no dry patches- this is the powder for you. Any sort of dry skin and I’d include combo skin in this- this powder won’t be your friend.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I love this setting powder! It provides a nice clean matte finish to my makeup, while absorbing any accumulated moisture while applying my makeup. It helps my makeup hold strong all day long, too.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I love the packaging of this product. It’s tiny and perfect to throw in a purse. It’s absolutely shine reducing. I think it slightly minimizes pores but nothing major. The powder does go on fairly white so it needs to be well blended in to do its job.
