I suffer from very bad dandruff and dead scalp skin in the winter. The weather and water makes my scalp super Sensetive and I flake a lot. I have tried using alot of things like expensive scrubs and scalp mask ! This has been the only thing that worked. I saw an immediate difference after applying it 2 nights in a. Row ! Within a week I had no dandruff or dead skin by my scalp frame ! It’s life changing

Absolutely not. I put this serum in my hair after a shower and my hair has never looked so greasy and stringy. And I just washed it. It didn’t hydrate my scalp at all either.

I tried all types of oils, creams and specifically scalps products and nothing worked or only for a few hours to a day. Then back to itchiness. I don't know about everyone else but when I itch it's usually in the same few spots, it's not all over and I don't know why that it. Anyway, I decide to give this a try and got it during a sale and it worked. First several weeks I used it every night, just this and no other products. Now I'm down to mostly 3x a week roughly and itchiness is mostly gone. I say mostly because every now and then I'll itch just in one spot, I place this serum in that spot, massage it in, wait a bit and itching is gone. I'll be stocking up at every sale.

Regular part of my haircare routine

So far I haven't found the scalp oil that does not make the itching worse or just not make it better. I looked for something that was not an oil and found this. Two months now with regular use especially right after a wash has resolved the itching.

Not Good If You Have A Scalp Condition

If you have a scalp condition, do not purchase. It had great reviews and was hoping this would help with itchiness and flakes. I tried a couple of times and it worsen my itchiness and and flakes were bigger. My scalp was soo itchy and left my roots oily.

Love this stuff!

This is the only scalp treatment I’ve been able to use that doesn’t give me bad dandruff or leaves any nasty residue. It’s moisturizing without making my hair feel greasy. It really does bring your scalp back to life. I hope The Ordinary never reformulates or discontinues this

I tried this product to help with my extremely dry scalp during the winter, but unfortunately, it only made my hair feel more oily and greasy. For context, I struggle with dandruff that worsens in the colder months, so I was hoping this would provide some relief. On a positive note, it does offer temporary hydration, but it wasn’t enough to address my needs.

My only complaint is that it doesn’t come in a bigger bottle.
