PRICKLY PEAR - Sérum facial com péptido de mucina

Love Glow Recipe but this was a miss for me. The consistency is great however when I put it on my face it smelled bad. Would not recommend.

Lovely for Skin- Smells Awful

I really love this product as it does amazing things for my skin and only in just a few days of using it, but I cannot stand the smell. It smells so bad.

I don’t get it

I feel like I am being gaslit by this brand. I have tried a few of their products and I don’t get it, I don’t see the hype. It’s all OKAY, this is geared towards younger people so that’s probably why. When you start to get in your mid-late 30’s I wouldn’t suggest this brand.

A product well worth the value!

I’m surprised by how many comment about the nasty smell- I’m quite sensitive to many smells and this one shake bother me- it is extremely nourishing on my skin and the babe speaks for itself. In the small amount of time I’ve been using, my skin literally glows! 10/10 recommendation!

Stinks Like Dirty Feet 🤢🤮

This product smells like dirty feet or vom@* to the point I cannot use it.

The Prickly Pear Mucin has become my overall favorite Glow Recipe Serum! Not only does it make my skin moisturized, soft, soothed and bouncy, but this serum has really helped smooth my irritations and breakouts! Totally recommend.

Not a rebuy, but not a regret

This is very hydrating and plays well with makeup. I use it every morning and night and can tell my skin looks healthier. I do like rhode products better, but this wasn’t a bad purchase. I probably won’t rebuy tbh, but I think it’s worth a try at least once

Simple and effective

This serum feels very hydrating and light. I have not seen drastic changes yet, but do enjoy the feeling of it. For someone who has dry skin, moisture and hydration are crucial so this serum checks all the boxes.

A Winter Skin Must Have

I didn't expect to like this, given my previous experience with Glow Recipe, but I was VERY impressed. I live in NJ, and my skin has been EXTREMELY dry and so dehydrated. I've done masks, I've done serums, I've done thick creams, and this was implemented into my daily routine, and I have noticed an immediate difference. Not only has it hydrated my skin, it's made it look like summer juicy plump skin, which is a struggle each winter. I love that it's vegan, so no animals are harmed. I have also noticed a lot of redness with the winter, and this has brought a lot of it down. I will say, the only reason it's not a 5 is that I cannot stand the smell of this, and while I know the consistency is what is helping my skin, a little too much can actually make my face feel TOO tacky. I did receive this for free for a review, but trust me when I say, I'm just as surprised as you are that I not only love this, but that I saw immediate results.

Great addition to my skincare routine

Have used it over a week now and have noticed a difference in my skin, adds a little glow and has greatly helped with discoloration and redness. Only CON is then smell like it’s not horrible but not good.

NEW FAVORITE 2026 FIND

Truly, I don’t really write product reviews. But I felt the need to say that this is my new favorite serum. And believe me, I have tried MANY many products out there. This makes me feel like I don’t need anything else but the serum and a moisturizer. I have very acne prone skin and this has not made me break out AT ALL. Also, the people saying that it doesn’t smell good need to get real. It’s a product made out of nopales (cactus). If you’ve ever tried make a face mask out of savila (aloe vera) you know that the smell isn’t great, but the results are! But honestly, I don’t feel that it remotely smells bad. I quite like it. I love the sustainability aspect of this as well. I recommend and will keep buying in the future.

Bouncy softness!

I use this every morning after my toner. Makes my skin feel fabulous. I was having a flaking issue & this seems to have toned that down. Will keep using.
