This is a several times over repurchase. I love warm scents and this perfume has the perfect amount of smokiness to it. The balance of smokiness and sweetness is wonderful and I enjoy getting a whiff of it off my wrist throughout the day. The longevity is also impressive.

Lovely toasted vanilla

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This scent is a lovely toasted vanilla. This is lovely by itself or layered with fruit scents like citrus or cherry. Both my husband and I like wearing this scent.

Aptly named

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] By the fireplace may be the most unique and aptly named perfume I have ever smelled in my life. It smells exactly like what you would expect after sitting by a burning fire all night, woody, smoky, and with a touch of something spicy. The longevity is quite good and it is definitely a fragrance made with layering in mind. On its own, I find it just a bit too earthy for me, but I have been able to layer it with several other perfumes I own so I’m sure I’ll get plenty of use out of it that way.

Wonderful travel spray, def need full size!!

I would repurchase definitely for a larger size and it lasts for a while, I have gotten may compliments so far on it!

Beautiful Winter Scent

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have always wanted to try this perfume and it has not let me down. What a beautiful fall/winter scent. Such a mood. I really do enjoy it and highly recommend giving it a try.

I did not love this scent. I felt it was unbalanced. It had a sweetness that reminded me more of old fashioned gum than it did vanilla, which didn't pair with the nutty aroma it provided.

Beautiful drydown!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This fragrance is true to the description - truly reminds me of being near a fireplace. The dry down is lovely, very warm and cozy. On me however the initial sprays were very smoke and clove heavy. Packaging is simple and straight forward but I like it. Overall I enjoy it and would recommend.

A Smoky and Deep Perfume for the Colder Months

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] By the Fireplace is a deep, smoky, and moody scent that matches the colder seasons well. It is a bit of a stronger scent, so one spritz is all I need to smell it all day. Although it leads in very heavy on the woody and smoky scents, there is some sweetness that pulls through over time. It wears very well on me. The bottle is nice and the spray is fine. To add more complexity, layered with Beach Walk, it feels like having a bonfire at the beach. Cold beach nights with the salt in the air and smoke on the wind! They do balance each other nicely. I prefer this scent layered, although I have worn it alone, and I am curious how it layers with more warm gourmand scents. Overall, I would recommend this. I will keep wearing this scent alone or layered.

Summer and winter must haves!

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I received two scents. The one pictured in the review and the firewood one. They both smelled amazing alone but together was a game changer. I loved it. Unfortunately I dropped one on accident one day, while it was still in the box and it broke but I loved it while I had it. I would absolutely recommend these two scents for summer and winter wear.

Classic but unique

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I never would have had the idea to layer By the Fireplace and Beach Walk myself but it’s excellent. By the Fireplace is cozy, warm, and smokey. It is sweet but with a definite edge of smokiness that settles nicely into the skin. Beach Walk is fresh and sunscreen-like but in a good way. Like a yellow floral. Together, they are surprisingly good. It becomes nuanced and addictive. It does evoke a campfire on the beach and makes me want to try layering other scents.

Smells like a Bonfire …yet Sophisticated!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] If you want to smell like a cozy warm bonfire then this is the scent for you. Very smoky yet sophisticated! The scent is very relaxing and lasts on the skin and clothes for a very long time. I love the bottle because it’s not actually a roller ball but a mini spray. I much rather have a spray so this was a pleasant surprise. I recommend this to anyone who loves notes of Vanilla and Clove. It really does smell like a bonfire!

Bonfire in a Bottle

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Are you the type of person that can’t stop smelling your jacket after leaving a bonfire? If so, this may be the perfect fragrance for you. Upon initial spray, you get a really strong smoky smell that’s reminiscent of a summer night at the beach. While the smokiness lingers for a hour or two, it dries down into a more woody scent. By the end of the night, you’re left with a warm musk. It’s a long lasting fragrance - I sprayed it once and it lasted over 12 hours. I will say that I did not smell the marshmallow gourmand notes that others did however. It’s a very unisex scent that leans more masculine. The one downside is the price, it’s rather expensive for a rollerball. With that being said, one spray goes a long way so a travel size should last you for a while.
