Rated 5 out of 5 by samanthasmom from It really works! I have thick course dry/damaged hair. I’ve used this product 3 times now and I’m impressed. It works. It actually works. It’s lightweight and doesn’t weigh my hair down & my hair is smoother and looks healthier! I have the entire olaplex line and don’t think it’s done that much for my hair. It doesn’t help breakage that’s for sure. Normally when I blow dry my hair, there is hair all over the sink & counter when I’m done BUT since I started using the resistance serum, there has been little to no breakage while blow drying! And my hair looks and feels noticeably healthier after just 3 uses! Can’t say the same for the olaplex oil or smoothing cream.

Let me be honest i had some highlights done in august 2019 came covid and with lockdowns and safety measures my hair still hasn’t seen the beauty parlor. So honestly my highlights were bleached and my hair looked like a broom i have bought so much trying to save it until i can go to my stylist and this was my last attempt before crying and i used it after shampooing and used the conditioner from keratase with it and my hair was so much softer and looked so much better ! I couldn’t stop looking at it if you got bleached hair and its dry especially ends get this it really worked for me and I highly recommend it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Adrienneluvsu from Defect in Packaging I have been using this product for over a year and love it, but the last two times I’ve purchased there has been a manufacture’s defect in the packaging so bad that the dual action turns into a one action. Only the side with the oil comes out of the pump and the lotion remains inside. Totally disappointing! The first purchased I ate the cost and only used half the product, hoping the lotion would start coming out but it never did. The second purchase had the same issue so I returned it. I am reluctant to buy again but I probably will because I love this product. Fingers crossed that Kerastase will get their packaging under control.

For those of you who think its "too small for the price/ your long hair" That is because this product is meant to be a 2 week therapist! Our Kerastase rep explained this to us at the salon. It is to be a treatment for extremely damaged hair. It has so much protein you shouldn't need it after 2 weeks. I however have dry curly hair that gets cut maybe once a year & use it at my ends regularly (not my whole head!) I use it in conjunction with kerastase nutritive cream. Using 1 pump a day at my ends, it will last me a month. The smell is heavenly!! I hope this helps.

My hair is naturally 2c curly but was flat, sad and had a bit of breakage. An amazing employee at the SF store who is also a hair stylist told me that if I bought one thing it should be this, and I am so glad I did!! I love that you can use this on dry hair as well as wet (most products get oily or sticky when applied to dry) and I find that it instantly improves frizz/ flyaways. I do find it rather pricey for how long the bottle lasts, but I have tried a myriad of oils and creams and none have had as much instant and noticeable impact. This is a must have in my beauty arsenal for bleached hair/ colored hair.

Rated 2 out of 5 by mebeval from too heavy for fine hair I didn’t love this product, which is rare because I’m a big fan of Kerastase styling products in particular. It’s much thicker than I expected and was too thick and greasy for the ends of my fine, naturally curly, unruly hair. I prefer Kérastase Resistance Fibre Architecte Serum, which is also a dual pump serum. Great for applying to hair lengths after flat ironing. Just be mindful that there isn’t much product inside the dual chambers of either formula. Also if you don’t press down evenly, you’re likely to end up with only one half of the dual serum left as you get closer to finishing up the product.

(I had radiation last year) I got a lot of layering cut in to remove a lot of the damage. But it still felt dry & coarse. I’ve been using this after washing and sometimes in between mixed with a styling cream. My hair is feeling much better. Softer and I’m not noticing so much breakage. I’m now using a few Kerastase products to help grow back my hair. I feel like I’m on the right path.

I find Kerastase products are usually very effective and this is no exception. It helps detangle my mess without all the breakage i usually experience. This primer/serum is up in the top 5 products I use most often to style my hair. IMO it’s just as good as Olaplex 6 without weighing my hair down with too much protein.
