I’ve used this eye primer since it came out. I absolutely love it. I buy 2 at a time when it’s in stock. It’s the only primer that works on my oily eyelids. My eyeshadow stays in place all day. My eyeshadow doesn’t crease and it doesn’t fade. I apply a small amount on my eyelid. Use a brush to spread it and let it dry down with my eye closed. Before repeating the process on the next eye. You don’t need very much. Just make sure you let it dry with your eye closed. I absolutely love it and was sad to see it discontinued for a time. I will always buy this and it’s worth the price.

The BEST!

This is the greatest eye shadow base I have been able to find since Bobbi Brown changed the formula for their vanilla stick 20 years ago. I've been using this consistently for YEARS and it keeps the eyeshadow on, smudge free, like I applied for hours. It's always out of stock for a reason: it's the absolute best. I keep these on hand and give them as gifts to my makeup-loving friends. I just wish it was more readily available.

I’m not thrilled with this eyeshadow base. Other bases I have used actually brighten my eyelids. This eyeshadow base is more like a clear cream. I find it pretty ineffective.

Can’t live without

I’ve used this several years. Have extremely oily eyelids and perimenopause. I live in Oklahoma so add in humid summers and hot. This stuff is so good. Can’t live without it. Sells out so fast.

Perfect primer

I love this base. It smoothes the eyelid perfectly. Eyeliner and eyeshadow glide on. Please don't discontinue it

I would not buy this product again

I've bought the original twice. Recently, it was not available. When it came back on the market it was thin and runny. It does not cover the eyelid well and now I'll have to start searching for another company's eye shadow base. Very disappointed.

Great product

A game changer for me! I stopped wearing eye shadow because it always "melted" off - but this product made me like wearing eye makeup again.

Tried and true

Tried and true eye shadow base. I have used it for years and it never disappoints. I have tried many name brand products before finding Nars and a few after. Nars is easy to use and and keeps my powder or cream shadows in place all day. No creasing and does not dry out my eye lids.

Won't buy again.

I use it as a base for my eye shadow.I had another tube and I loved it because sometime I didn't even need the eye shadow. But the new variety is too thin and not satisfactory. the original base(light) even covered my rosacea eyelids. I probably won't buy another newer thinner product.

I've used it for years

This is the only eye shadow base that works. It keeps both eyeliner and eye shadow from deteriorating.

Are they serious?

This stuff is so pointless. It creases on the eye and makes my eye shadow crease in about an hour. It’s also loaded with talc. The applicator wand is longer than the part that contains the product and there’s hardly any product in it so basically we’re paying for a long applicator that is an awful way to apply and awful joke of a product. This is how they rip us off, trading tubes for applicators. I’m about to boycott makeup altogether. This is getting ridiculous
