What The Heck is Nars Basing Their Colors On?

I'm taking this latest product I've bought as a sign that Nars' products are NOT for me. I bought three Radient Ultra Wear foundations in Tahoe, Caracas, and finally Moorea. All were aweful fits for my skin tone, but I chose to keep Moorea, which is an ungodly orange apricot color which does not correspond to any human being's real skin color. Now, based upon the picture of the model, I bought the Soft Matte Perfecting Powder in High Tide. I've been sooo excited to get it. I opened the compact and it is not only pale and pink, but I'm unable to even use it for it's blurring effects and all of its attributes. It was a final sale for Memorial Day so I can't trade it. I'm over my desperate obsession to be a Nars girl. I will stick with my go-tos, Graftobian HD Cream Foundations in Deep Xanthe mixed with Golden Sunset, and their fabulous silica Setting powders and Lancome Teint Idole Longwear in 410N.. and Loreal True Match powders in Nut Brown and Classic Tan until I find another suitable higher end substitute. I purchased ALL of my products with my own money.

Never received

Was told to pick out 2 free samples. Didn't get either

Exactly what I was looking for. The powder breaks easily but not really a problem.

Pas assez de choix au niveau des teintes

Super poudre rien à dire elle fait son job mais vraiment personnes ayant la peau seche je déconseille. Le seul point négatif pour moi du moins c'est que jai achetée la couleur la plus claire ayant la peau tres claire et vraiment on dirait je me deguise en fantomas elle fait un rendu très blanc. Or en general en teinte je suis dans les plus claire. Domagge qu'elle ne soit pas universelles où qu'il y est plus de choix au niveau des teintes.

I have oily skin and when I don't feel like applying makeup, I can simply use this powder. It works good for smoothing out my complexion and reducing the oily look of my skin.

Beautiful Powder

This powder is very nice...just too deep for my skin tone...great if you want to look like you had a tan.

Goes great with Marquises

At first glance I thought this would be too light but it worked beautifully with Marquises. I also tried it with Macao & it was too light but still pretty

Mitigée

Jolie poudre mais attention de ne pas trop en mettre sinon elle a tendance a faire cacky et a marquer les rides ou les zones de sécheresse, on brille quand mm assez rapidement avec cette poudre , donc oui mais en légèreté et pas pour les peaux grasses
