Take it away cleanser

I have used Estee Lauder products for about 40 years but I am very dissappointed with this cleanser, Did not remove futurist foundation, ended up with make on my towel so had to cleanse three times before I felt my face was clean. I usually do a double cleanse. I will be going back to my oil cleanser next time.

Efficace

Peu adepte des laits démaquillants que je trouve souvent trop gras et difficile à rincer, j'ai été pour celui-ci agréablement surprise. Ce lait, utilisé avec une éponge konjac, démaquille très bien et surtout est facile à rincer ( j'utilise tout de même 3 pompes). Je trouve seulement dommage qu'il ne présente pas une petite odeur qui rende son utilisation encore plus agréable

It grew on me...

I got a sample of this a long time ago. At first, the strong perfumey smell really put me off. But after trying pretty much every cleansing oil and balm out there...I've come back to this and found that it's the ONE makeup remover that removes my eye makeup, namely my super waterproof/budge-proof mascara, completely and easily. It's a little too rich for me to use on the rest of my face. But this means that a bottle will last me a long time. Make sure to use this on dry skin. I use 1 pump, distribute it on a couple fingers and lightly rub it over my eye area. The scent is still not my favorite. But for removing waterproof makeup, nothing has worked better for me.

Average

This makeup remover lotion is supposed to remove waterproof and longwear makeup but it doesn't. Its not runny or gloopy. It come out like a light lotion then when you rub it around your face it turns into a super light oil. This is not strong enough to remove makeup or sunscreen. It doesn't rise off well leaves a slight residue. Contains isoparaffin (mineral oil).

worthless

I always was a little unsure how well this worked. One day I forgot to use my cleanser after and skipped to my toner right away. The cotton pad I used was COVERED with foundation even after using this. Barely removes make up.

did not work for me

I was recommended this product based on how good it is, to my surprise it did not do anything to my face. I have combo skin with an oily tzone, I applied this product on my face massaged it in then rinsed, to find my face slick with oil and my makeup still on my face. I gave it three tries with different makeup (liquid/powder foundation, waterproof, non waterproof etc) and every time the same oil slick face with makeup still evident. Twas just not meant to be

love it

I use only on my eyes to remove layers of mascara and gel liner and waterproof brow product and it wipes it away easily and is even better because it doesn't burn or have a greasy feeling

great for double cleansing with dry skin

First, this is a makeup remover, NOT a cleanser. If you try to use it as a cleanser (rinsing off and following directly with toner/serum/etc.) it will not be very satisfying. Do like the directions say and take it off with a tissue, and then cleanse for real afterwords. That's how it's supposed to work, so I highly recommend trying it that way before you decide it's not for you. I personally really like this. It's perfect for someone (like me) who wears full face regularly and wants to double-cleanse but has dry skin. It does not feel greasy going on at all, the water base is obvious and it's very light. I will say there are some mascaras it does not completely remove, but the residue comes off when I cleanse so it's ok. I definitely would not recommend for stand-alone makeup removal because of this eye makeup issue, but if you're double cleansing it should be fine.

Best I've found

This is the best makeup remover I have found. It's a lotion so does not feel oily. It removes very well! My completion has really improved since starting this product. I haven't found anything that even compares!

Great Product, one of my favorites

I was surprised with the really low rating for this product. I have been using this for years and love it. Its a great price for how much product you get and it really does the job. Yes, it's can feel very oily and greasy on the skin but thats because it's removing makeup. I also follow this with my regular face wash and the combo leaves my skin feeling so moisturized and clean. I can definitely tell the difference when I stop using this for a couple of days because I breakout. I would definitely recommend this product.
