I passed it around the table to my husband, mother, and step-father and they all told me I was crazy. The next day I made my husband put it on and everyone agreed it smelled amazing on him. I think the scent is very woodsy- very much like cedar wood. It might smell a little intense in the bottle and be much more adaptable when on the skin. It is a strong smell, very masculine, and very impressionable. I don't know that it is a smell for anyone, and certainly not a younger guy...maybe more of an adult, confident smell, if that makes any sense!

I wore it, and the whole night I kept thinking that I smelled amazing. It's a sexy rustic smell that's kinda masculine and kinda feminine. It wasn't until I decided to purchase it, that I found out that it's a men's scent. I went online and found that many women had a similar issue when attempting to purchase it. I decided that I liked the scent too much to worry about who it was designed for. I'm wearing it right now, and I LOVE IT!

I described his taste as wood, citrus, herbs, pepper and dried leaves to the salesgirls and they helped me find this. I loved it at once and got it for my Pops as a Christmas gift. He loved it and amazingly it smelled even a million times better on him than on the little paper sample! It's complex and wonderful. Hard to describe, unique, like the forest of your dreams. If I were a man I'd wear it. I may even get it for myself anyway!

The moment my husband tried it I knew I was head over heels in love. This scent is so different front any other cologne he has. It's not the typical spicy knock you over scent. To me it is very masculine. It's almost hard for me to describe. It's very woodsy and mellow, but something that's keeps me wanting more. For a toilette it lasts ALL DAY. I purchased the full size bottle for him for Christmas and he wears this more than anything else he owns.

I bought this for my boyfriend, he is an outdoorsy kind of guy, never wears cologne, kind of a "lumberjack" ! He loves this scent because it smells very natural, you can smell cedar and pine trees, wet soil on a rainy day... This scent is unique and very special to me, as it reminds me of beautiful days spent walking in a forest. To me, this scent is VERY earthy, almost dirty... so this is not for everyone. Terre d'Hermès could be a unisex scent, but I wouldn't wear it personally. However, I do find myself smelling the bottle from time to time: this smell is so comforting to me and it takes me somewhere else! If you like earthy kind of scents, if you would consider yourself an outdoorsy person... Try this!

My 1st time smelling this on a person who brushed past me was the HOTTEST and MOST SEDUCTiVE scent that I have ever smelled. I HAD to have it and demand my guy wear it... I joke with some of my girlfriends and we call it the 'panty dropper' BEWARE though: DO NOT overdo it. You will for sure not like it then and give it unfair judgement. This stuff doesn't need and was not meant to saturate someone. That's why it's the best EVER

I decided to try it anyway and was pleasantly surprised. On me, a mid-twenties lady, it started out a little strong and cedar-y but quickly mellowed out to a light orange and pepper with sublte undertones of vanilla. Since I prefer a gourmand perfume to florals, this was a good fit for my body chemistry.

I love the Rocabar - like makes me want to roll around in his sheets love - but it is somewhat strong for everyday wear. I don't want girls attacking him Axe style in an elevator after all. Terre has alot of those same masculine scents but is much more wearable on a daily basis. I got him this for Christmas as he loves it. It seems many women wear this as well, I prefer the Hermes Elixer des merveilles as I think it is slightly more feminine. I refer to it as the female version of Terres and my boyfriend loves it on me.
