The 99% of fragrances today are obnoxiously sweet or patchouli bombs. Costa Azzurra is truly one of a kind. As soon as I smelled it, I knew I wouldn’t be able to live without it. This one makes you feel alive. Truly magnificent scent of woods, seaweed and lavender. It opens gorgeously on my skin. The longevity sucks, it’s true. About 4-6 hrs., which isn’t bad for a fresh fragrance. Has good projection up until it disappears, stays linear after dry down. what else can I say? It’s my signature fragrance now and I think it’ll stay forever. Go for it if you’re not a gourmandish/flowery/sweet fragrance lover.

One of the best TF frangranes that I've owned. Clean, fresh and very appealing. I get so many compliments when I wear this scent!

Intoxicating. I bought a bottle of this and my husband and I shared it. I work for sephora, so I smell fragrances all day long, but something kept drawing me back to this one. It smelled different in him than it did me, which made it very unique for both of us. I must admit, I'm a woman who LOVES men's cologne, so it was a win win for me. I highly recommend this fragrance for a man

Leans toward masculine

I put two sprays on my wrist yesterday afternoon. For me, it lasted more than 8 hours into the evening. The weather was mild. Therefore, no excess body chemistry mixed in like during warm to hot climates, just Costa Azzurra. To me, the scent leans in the masculine direction, and the sillage lingered. If scents were described in terms of thickness, it is thick and dense. Apply anymore, and CA will announce itself before I physically show up. Woodsy. I got a sample in the store (thanks, Sephora). I was going to buy it sent-unseen. I was glad my local Sephora had it in store. Now that I wore CA in various places, I am debating it. Whenever possible, get a sample. Spending $150+ won't seem so risky now that I know what the scent is.

I must say that Costa Azzurra last as long as the Neroli Portofino. Again, it lasts long after putting it on. Five stars from me.
