Citric woody smell

This cologne is really good, it’s woody and citric smell is nice. You can wear it during the summer and spring so it’s a good summer scent. Haven’t seen people wear it enough so it was a good gatekeep.

The scent opens smooth and refined with a slightly sweet, warm character that immediately feels elegant. As it develops, you start to notice the creamy hazelnut and chocolate-like warmth mixed with soft woods and leather. It has a very sophisticated, slightly gourmand vibe that stands out from typical fresh fragrances. What I really like about this one is how comfortable and classy it feels. It’s the kind of scent that works great for evenings, date nights, or cooler weather, but it’s still smooth enough that it never feels overwhelming. Performance has been solid for an EDT. I get about 6 to 7 hours of longevity with moderate projection during the first couple hours before it settles into a nice close scent bubble. The bottle design is also excellent with the signature Valentino studded glass and gold accents, which gives it a very premium look. Overall, if you like warm, smooth, slightly sweet masculine fragrances, this one is definitely worth checking out. ⭐ Rating: 4/5

Good scent

Definitely an acquired scent. If you like powdery fragrances, this is right up your alley! Longevity is a little lacking with 4-5 hours on my skin. Perfomance is ok, take me 4-6 sprays to get what I like. Good for spring!

Glamorous

Is simply spectacular. From the first moment you apply it, it feels elegant feminine and full of personality it has a perfect combination of sweetness and sophistication, making it ideal for both day and night. Its scent is long lasting leaving a charming trail without being overpowering. It’s one of those perfumes that constantly receives compliments. Furthermore the bottle design is gorgeous modern, glamorous and with that iconic Valentino touch that makes it look beautiful on day vanity.

Bergamot and myrtle

Is a sofisticated warm and slightly sweet men’s fragrance thst feels elegant without being overpowering. It’s the kind of scent that makes you think of a well-dressed man at dinner date or evening event.

One of the best parfume. With fabolous scent and aroma. Everyone is interested in which parfume do you where. And they are fascinated. I recommend it.

A Perfect Cold weather fragrance

Valentino Uomo is one of my favorite all time cold weather fragrances. Especially the 2014-2018 pre L’Oréal batches. This opens with bergamot and Myrtle that makes it feel uplifting and refreshing with a bit of sweetness. The dry down is where this DNA is truly magical. You have Hazelnut, chocolate and roasted coffee that are blended so perfectly with the leather and cedar base. The result is a gorgeous nutty and creamy dry down that smells approachable and masculine while remaining a bit playful. Performance is only decent at a consistent 6 hours but it’s not a problem for me to carry a decant and reapply as I need throughout the day. Projection is moderate for the first hour before it settles into an intimate scent bubble. Overall, this is an excellent choice for just about every occasion, but it will definitely shine for a date night or the colder weather days.

It smells edible

It opens to addictive coffee and hazelnut gourmand, drying to smooth white leather cedar for polished masculinity. A very cozy fragrance perfect for dates and the cooler days. I get solid 6-8h, intimate sillage, easy compliments.

An overlooked and elegant offering from Valentino, this fragrance truly deserves to more love and attention these days as newer fragrances overshadow it now. It is a lovely scent with an upscale feel and just makes you smell so classy, clean and well put together. Do not overlook this gem from the original Valentino Uomo line (not to be confused with Born in Roma).
