Nightly Routine

I've been using this product for several months now and I love it. Others mention the tingling sensation which I also experienced in the beginning. The results have been brighter, more even looking skin tone, and smaller pores. To eliminate or reduce the tingling, I mix a little of this Vit C Serum with The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Serum. My doctor recommended the combination to me as an alternative to Retin-A or Retinol products which neither of us tolerate very well. In my 70's, I still have minimal wrinkles. I also use a nightly moisturizer on top of the Vit C and Hyaluronic combo.

Not what I was expecting

This product was not what I was expecting. Maybe because I didn’t read into it enough. I wanted to get the Sephora collection vitamin C serum but it was out of stock, so I tried this serum. It was grainy and made my skin sting. I thought it would be liquidy. I have stopped using it because of this.

A must have for me (middle aged, S.Asian mixed)

First beauty related review I’ve ever written, because I Love this stuff. Have been using for 5 years along with various TO products, but this is the one that’s stayed in routine since I first tried it. Yes gritty at first but it feels pleasant like a very light scrub, and then disappears as it’s spread over face. Tingles in that good way and brightens like no other.

I do love this serum very much and yes I will repurchase. I do have to mix it with my hyaluronic acid to get rid of that gritty/sand consistency. If I put it on by itself it irritates the shi out of my skin. Mixing with hyaluronic acid has been a game changer. It does work well with my skin so will continue to use.

Waterless! slight grainy feel at first but blends

Too soon to tell really, if it's making a change but that takes quite a while with any product. I like that this has a high percentage of C and NO WATER which lowers the potency. Most formulas add it and I don't know why. The reason I gave only 4 stars is because it's slightly grainy feeling when you first apply it. that goes away but if you need to layer your routine in a hurry, I'd save this for night when you had time to let it sink in.

If it hurts, it works!

I personally love this because I have actually noticed a difference in my skin texture. Yes there is a slight tingle effect, especially if you get it on lips or close to eyes. It does have kind of a wet dog smell/old oranges smell to it, but the effects outweight the smell for me. I need to literally feel the product working, so the slight tingle/stinging works for me! If it hurts, it works! Will definitely be buying another before they discontinue! Please don't discontinue this!

Think twice before you buy

i dont recommend this product. Even the description said it will make you feel tingling, but i didnt know it will last ALL NIGHT that i have to wash it away! I dont see any skin improvement whatsoever, whoever wants to buy it really need to think twice

I've been using this product for 3 months every night and honestly see no difference in my skin. I didn't mind the gritty texture and even feel the tingles so it really feels like it's working but honestly I'm about to throw what's left out and go to another product. I wanted this to work so badly for the price point but it just isn't worth it.

Eh, texture is weird.

Honestly, did not like this product at all. The texture was SO weird and it's just not well absorbing into the skin. If you want a vitamin c serum or anything like that, invest in something else because the texture was something I could NOT get past.

The pros: actually notice a difference in brightening- has improved acne discoloration, and smoothes out any fine lines. Affordable too! The cons: the texture is gross and the smell is putrid (like a soc). (like
