Recommend

Very dry hair from bleaching over the years, but this has given my hair some strength and stability. I have used this along with the rest of the John Frieda Detox range and I recommend.

Just okay...

I received this product to try through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This shampoo is okay - it smells great and moisturizes but sulfates are at the top of the ingredients list and in this day of being able to find so many products in the same price range that perform well without the use of sulfates, it’s a little disappointing. It also contains silicones so if you’re trying to avoid those ingredients, this may be a deal breaker. I’m not so sure on the “detox” claims... I don’t think I experienced anything different from that aspect but I do think it wasn’t drying and cleansed my hair well. Since it was so moisturizing , those with fine hair may find it too heavy and weigh down the hair - I found that although my fine wavy hair wasn’t lifeless, I did find my hair a little flatter than normal. Overall I would use it again but would likely not purchase it.

Silky, Smooth and Smelling Good!

Over the last 4 years, my hair chemistry has changed drastically thanks to all of the hormones related to having babies! My two beautiful boys have left me with not so beautiful looking or feeling hair, even though it's been dyed a pretty color. I would wash my hair and it didn't even feel like I washed it because of whatever product and oil build up I had, it was embarrassing! I've been trying to stick to a regime of washing my hair every 2-3 days to help preserve my hair color. So I've been on the hunt for a product that will allow me to keep to that schedule and still have my hair feeling great. In January, I received this shampoo to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it's been a game changer for my hair! I shampoo my hair two to three times a week. My hair today looks more healthy and it's smooth than it did a month ago. It's shiny, but not because of oil! Not only does my hair look great, but it smells amazing too! I definitely will continue to use this is as part of my hair care routine.

I love this shampoo and conditioner! I’ve been through so many other brands after my favorite was discontinued and came across this and I have to say I love it more than the other discontinued brand. The smell is great and my hair is soft and silky.... even at the end of my hair does not feel greasy unlike how others leave my hair.

Instantly Smooth!

I typically stick to my preferred shampoo and conditioner, but noticed my hair was feeling frizzy and dry. I was excited to try the John Frieda Haircare Detox & Repair Care & Protect Shampoo and Conditioner to try and bring life back to my hair without going to the salon. After my first time using the shampoo and conditioner my hair instantly (yes, instantly in the shower!) felt silky and smooth. The smell was very relaxing and I really enjoyed it. After washing my hair with these products, I did not have any trouble combing through my hair like I typically do. My hair stayed soft and smooth until my next wash. I used these products at least twice a week to “detox” my hair. It was a pretty simple way to make my hair feel shiny and great. I would definitely buy these again! Finally a product that does what it says!!

Hands down the best shampoo I’ve ever had! I’ve used all kinds of shampoo product and none of them have worked out for me they would leave my hair really oily and I couldn’t even style it before it felling super nasty and staticy. Not to forget John Frieda Haircare Detox & Repair Shampoo has helped me out a lot with my itchy scalp somehow I don’t have dandruff which I’m really happy about because I have suffered from it for 2 years, I would always be really embarrassed about it and the smell of the shampoo is amazing, also it makes you feel refreshing after having it on! I’ve been using it for a little over a week now and it’s been life changing I wish I would of known about this product along time ago it has changed my hair for the better! I will for sure order another one before i run out of it! I want to thank the stellar product testing panel for sending me this great shampoo that I have even told my family members about so they can order it too and have amazing hair like I do now!
