Impeccable Blurring Second-Skin Matte Foundation - Base

The colour is off.

ANHs Blurring Second Skin is a lovely, user friendly foundation. The texture is silky upon touch and does indeed create a matte/blurring effect. I paired this with a highlighter by Wet n Wild, that wore off long before the foundation. As well as concealer from Bare Minerals that both hung out and blended in well. My lack of five stars actually comes from the shade. I received 1CR which should be fair skin with cool rosy undertones but this had a heck of a yellow hue. I actually wish I could even half star it less for the colour issue. Other than that, this is a pleasant and long wearing foundation.

Smooth and velvety

This foundation is a matte, buildable medium to full coverage. Thick and creamy consistency, yet lightweight. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin at all. Velvety feel. It does blur and smooth. Though, I will say if you have dry skin it will settle into fine lines or wrinkles and accentuates pores and texture. However, with proper prep and moisturizing of your skin, it looks really good. No fragrance. I typically get light/medium neutral in foundations and the color 3N was a perfect match for me. I did get decent long wear time. I even tested it out in a steam room and it only came off if I wiped my face with a sweat rag. The packaging is pretty. It’s in a thick, sturdy frosted glass container with a gold cap and pump top. The pump can get a little bit messy. I’m really enjoying this foundation a lot and would recommend!

AMAZING

I was so shocked by this foundation. It’s probably the highest coverage foundation I’ve ever used and blends so well. After it dries it leaves my skin silky smooth- almost feeling velvety. Also, I am extremely pale and rarely am able to find a foundation that’s as light as I am, and this shade may even be lighter than me! I’d totally recommend!

Great foundation, runs dark

This was a great foundation that applied well and has a matte finish. Unfortunately, the colour ran a bit darker than I expected so it was not a perfect match. I am light-medium with neutral undertones and selected the 3N colour, but felt really dark. You way want to consider this when choosing your shade. This colour may suit me well once I build up a tan over the summer, so we’ll see! Aside from that, it has a great, buildable coverage and applies really well. It doesn’t feel cakey and I would recommend it as long as you get the right shade. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

Oh it BLURS!

It really blues. Like so much so, when I was asking my partner what he thought, he literally told me it's like I have a blurring filter on my face lol. I didn't feel cakey or crusty. It felt smooth and soft, it was easy to apply, and really lasted all day (even through some sweat). I've never used this brand before but of course everyone knows it. It truly did a great job. My skin in the photo with my cat is filter free and looks blurred/smooth. Would definitely recommend.

Great coverage

The finish and coverage are amazing! I actually love the feel of this on my skin as well. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I’m unable to wear it since it’s not my shade it’s too dark. But I will definitely buy again in my correct shade.

Blends Beautifully

I don’t usually wear liquid foundation but this one has made me change my mind! It is easy to apply and blend and has a beautiful matte finish. It’s buildable and I’m able to use just a little to get decent coverage. The color is also a good match for my skin. The glass bottle has a nice weight to it and feels high end. I would definitely consider adding this foundation to my makeup routine again in the future!

Great quality !

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. unfortunately, the color that I received is very far from my natural complexion however, I did give the foundation a try. I do like the texture it does blend and set very well and the finish is extremely flawless. Also, I must say the packaging is very luxurious, I will be purchasing in the right color for my skin tone because the quality is so good.!

Too thick

I tried this foundation hoping for a flawless look, but it was just too much for me. It’s definitely full coverage, but the formula is extremely thick and hard to apply evenly. Blending it out was a struggle, and it felt heavy on my skin. On top of that, it was very difficult to wash off at the end of the day. Unfortunately, it didn’t sit well on my skin and looked cakey rather than smooth. Not something I’d repurchase.

Good coverage

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Impeccable Blurring Second-Skin Matte Foundation is a smooth, lightweight foundation that gives your skin a soft, matte finish without feeling heavy. It blends easily and makes pores and texture look blurred, almost like a filter. The coverage is medium but buildable, and it stays put for hours without getting oily or patchy. It works best for normal to oily skin but can also suit dry skin with a good primer. The shade range is great, with options for many skin tones. Left my skin looking great

I love the finish and long wearing of this foundation. The shade match was perfect. It is a great blurring and great coverage no need to buildup it will cover all imperfections.

Nice foundation

Nice consistency, no piling, lasted 8+ hours on my face. Did not dry out my face and was not oily. Nice shade range. Would recommend this product.
