I absolutely love this product ! the makeup applies flawlessly. it is lightweight and it gives the allusion of smooth skin. I love the applicator that it comes with as well. it is soft and fluffy and it applies the makeup flawlessly!!

great for those that love a matte matte finish

ok. so pros: ~doesn't sit in fine lines. ~didn't accentuate any lines or pores ~full coverage with either side of the included sponge ~covered under eyes ,gave face an even overall coverage ( could use without concealer!!) so cons: ~ the most dulling face powder ~all glow and brightness left the minute this powder hit my face ~very matte. no light/ radiance to it. setting sprays didn't help! I tried shade y335 as it was matched perfect to skin tone. but my face is lighter than my body I also don't think it was the right undertone as I looked washed out. using sponge light or firm didn't matter. it's full coverage. used hourglass dual ended powder brush and that gave the most natural finish with coverage but still took a way all the radiance I had to then go into contour ,over blush etc to add color back to my face. I just felt like I couldn't see thru the makeup and had to make up for it with tones more makeup. color y375 darker but matched body better. couldn't use with sponge application as it made me look like I had a mask on. when used with the hourglass powder brush it almost didn't look much different than the y335. I wanted to love these as I want a powder foundation. but I need a more luminous bright look. this was dull. it just flattened out my entire face. it's why I stear clear of most full coverage powders but the reviews of this are amazing! I tried different primers( Laura mercier, smashbox photo finish illuminator, too face) even doing blush, highlight etc first then dusting the power on top( looked the best) but still dulled and flattened my face. blush /highlight on top just made me look like I had caked on makeup. setting sprays don't help for reference I wear shade 31tawny in double wear and I don't look like I have a mask on. even with a setting powder my skin glows. powder by urban decay medium light warm. again doesn't look like a mask. but no longer tolerate formula

my daily foundation

so fast to apply, and looks good instantly. i wear this every day when i don't want to put the work into a "full face". i have sensitive skin and this did not bother it at all

It was so so bad

Upon initial application, my skin looked ethereal and blurred. HOWEVER, not even twenty minutes later oil was coming through. I was like “oh it’s fine I’ll just put on some more” And listen, when I tell you my skin was cakey I mean every single bit of texture on my skin was emphasized. It looked horrible. Unfortunately I didn’t notice how bad it was until I saw my skin in natural light using the built in mirror. Lighting can be deceiving and I had thought it looked normal, but I was so wrong. Since then I used the Mac studio fix matte foundation which was honestly great and now I use the esteé lauder double wear. The only reason why anyone would have a problem with the double wear is because they aren’t putting it on right. It dries super fast so you gotta split your face into sections, putting some on the area and the immediately blending it out with fingers or a beauty blender. Anyways yea, I really really didn’t like it

Love, love, love the way this powder makes my skin feel. It makes it feel velvety soft! It’s pretty buildable.

Made me breakout horribly. Do not use this as an everyday foundation. Has a great finish and stays on all day, but do not use if acne prone.

Not worth it

This was my first time getting this brand and product. I wish I didn't. While it's definitely matte and feels nice, it is not blurring at all. I don't know if I would use it again as I am already on the hunt for new foundation. It wasn't worth the money spent. For context, I am 45, oily, acneic, maturing skin.
