An okay setting powder

It's a good setting powder, it blends well when you use a brush to apply it and settles okay. The issues I encountered are that it clumps whenever I applied it with a puff. I also had to use a lot of product and when I use it and it is entirely transparent. It does have a little bit of tint which I'm fine with it since I'm medium skin tone but I can see it being an issue with other skin tones. I like that it is a nice size for traveling and it is a nice compact but it doesn't include a mirror nor a sponge. The last issued I had is that it didn't control my oil, I was shiny after a few hrs. It's a decent product but not my first choice if I were to purchase it.

It works well

I’ve been using the SEPHORA COLLECTION 12HR Setting & Mattifying Pressed Powder for a few days now, and I’m honestly impressed with how well it performs—especially for the price. I have combination skin, and this powder does a great job keeping my T-zone shine-free without drying out the rest of my face. It feels super lightweight and smooth, and it doesn’t settle into fine lines or make my makeup look cakey. One thing I love is how natural the finish looks. It gives me a soft, blurred effect that makes my skin look more even and polished, but still like my skin. I also really appreciate that it’s vegan, clean, and doesn’t clog pores—those are big pluses for me when choosing everyday products. The only downside I’ve noticed is that the compact feels a bit delicate. I haven’t dropped it (yet!), but I can tell I’ll need to be careful if I toss it in my bag. Other than that, I think this is a great staple to have, whether I’m setting a full face of makeup or just doing a quick touch-up. Would definitely recommend if you want something affordable, clean, and effective for keeping your skin matte and your makeup in place!

If you are going for the matte look, this is the product for you. It will keep your skin matte all day, even through heat and sweat. I recommend not using it over your entire face because that was a bit much for me. But I used it in my t zone and it was amazing. This product was given to me for my honest review.

Smooth

This product is great to help set under the eyes. Leave my under super smooth and numb creasing. I have very dry skin and I didn’t find this very drying. I would recommend this to any MUA. Overall 10 out of 10 of 10 product.

Great powder. Works really well for setting concealer. Looks very nice on my deeper skin tone. Doesn’t look pale or ashy when applied and blends nicely.

I really like this powder. It keeps my makeup in place and definitely helps control shine throughout the day — I don’t feel the need to blot as often, which is a huge plus for someone with combination to oily skin. The texture is smooth, and it applies evenly without looking cakey or overly dry. I love that it’s a universal shade — it blends in well without leaving a white cast. That said, I do wish it had space for a sponge or puff inside the compact. It’s a bit inconvenient to carry a separate applicator when I want to touch up during the day. I feel like even a thin sponge could’ve fit if they’d designed the packaging slightly differently. Still, for the price and performance, I think it’s a solid setting powder and I’ll likely repurchase. Just be ready to carry your own applicator.

I have combination skin type prone to oiliness, and this powder: •mattifies those parts of the face where oily shine appears •does not emphasize peeling, where it exists •does not fall into pores and does not emphasize their depth. In hot weather it doesn't cause me any discomfort, I live in Texas in high humidity weather. The powder itself is transparent and does not lighten the skin, so I use it even on a tanned face. The mattifying effect is very delicate, without the "maxi" effect, which is facilitated by the slightly shiny texture of the powder itself. Overall, this is a great product for everyday use. Great Setting Powder!

I’m so glad I got a chance to try this powder just in time for summer. It works great for me and keeps my skin from looking too shiny, especially when I’m sweating a lot in the heat. I was concerned it would emphasize the texture of my skin since my face gets very dry, but I have not had that issue so far. This powder seems to do a good job of keeping my makeup intact throughout the day. It does not budge or pill, which I often have trouble with while using other products. Also, I have very fair skin so sometimes things that are labeled as “universal” are still a little bit too dark for me, but in this case it blends seamlessly into my skin tone and doesn’t look noticeable at all. Overall, I think this is one of the best setting powders I’ve tried and I would recommend!
