Rated 4 out of 5 by slmaz2009 from Pastel vs Melanin I loved this packaging as soon as I saw this Natasha Denona palette. It had decent weight on it & contained beautiful pastel colors. I am however of darker skin tone & this palette for me wouldn’t be an every day makeup palette for me based on the shades available. Please keep in mind that this palette contains more shimmers than mattes especially when seeking colors for the outer corner of your eye. However other than that the colors blend nicely and are buttery upon application. They are indeed pigmented even without wetting your brush. This palette also came with a nice sized mirror to make it even better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MarissaIwanowsk from Beautiful cool toned palette This palette is a gorgeous cool toned palette and is consistent with other Natasha Denona Formulas. Buttery smooth and pigmented. The shimmers and mattes are gorgeous. Only A little fall out with a few of the shimmer shades but if you use glitter glue you should be fine. The color story is not one I’d use everyday, however, the colors do go together beautifully and for the right occasion you can create a gorgeous look! I love how this palette can be used for a toned down more subtle look or a glam and more bold look (with the shimmers ) . Very easily blendable and very little fall out. I find the packaging absolutely gorgeous

I was one of the most vocal people about the first midi retro. while I’m happy that she finally gave us what we asked for, I feel as though she did miss the mark. even though this palette is gorgeous the greens are much too Blue toned we were hoping and expecting gray undertone greens like the ones in the mini retro palette The color jazzy should definitely be a dark cool matte Brown and evergreen is definitely not dark enough to create depth on women of color still giving four-star is because the quality is there the Eyeshadow flutter is absolutely ethereal And as you can see from the picture you can create some really out there looks as well as every day casual ones

Beautiful color story, not something I usually for but definitely caught my eye and seeing it in person I’m so happy I got it! Shadows are so buttery smooth and dreamy. It contains 15 shades, creamy mattes, soft buttery shimmers and metallics. Beautifully pigmented with huge color payoff, swatch amazingly which you will be able to see in my upcoming swatches for this palette. The colors showed up really well on my skin tone which I actually applied with my fingers. Her Creamy blend able formula is extremely easy to work with minimal fall out. The shade selection is very versatile and can be paired with other palettes by ND. Last all day without any creasing. Highly recommend and a great addition to my collection

So as one of the people actually tried this, this is a less than glowing review. I think the colors are nice and different than other ND palettes. I like this cool tone vibe for the winter. However, the colors can get muddy very quickly if you are not an expert in eyeshadow and color theories. You can't get that many more looks than the mini retro could achieve. The lighter shades are very pastel, which I couldn't tell before seeing in person. I'm not a pastel fan. The shimmery shades don't pack much a punch as her usual formula. All in all, not my favorite of hers. Pick up the mini, which was great, if you like this color story.

I love ND’s formula, and I’ve been waiting for a color story like this from her! Personally these are shades that I love and reach for often, so this is a hit for me. If you don’t reach for greens or cool tones often, this will not be a palette for you. The formula is the same great formula that I expect from ND, and I’ve had no issues with hard pan or fallout. The shades in this palette are a bit more subdued than her previous one; No duochromes or overly glittery/shimmery shades, but still very pigmented and pretty. I’ve heard some complain that there’s not enough depth in the palette, and that may be true for darker skin tones. I’m relatively fair and I find thati can get enough depth in my looks by incorporating the shades Evergreen & Jazzy. This may not be a palette for everyone, but it’s definitely a big win for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by elenaph from Pop of colors and soft neutrals This is a beautiful palette, first off the packaging is very cute and very on brand with the color selection. The pan sizes are decent and I love the magnetic closure. The shades are a mix of pastels, blue and some neutrals. They do not come off patchy at all (even the lighter shades). I use an eyeshadow primer underneath them and it helps to get a better color payoff especially for the lighter tones. I love that I can create an easy neutral look but also a more fun colorful one or even add a pop of color to make it different. The shimmers and sparkly shadows are stunning and the mattes compliment them so well. Highly recommend if you’re into the color scheme!

Rated 5 out of 5 by CeciChickadee from Green love This was a Christmas gift from my husband because he knows I love green eyeshadow. Many versions of sage make me look very zombie… but not these. The only shade here that potentially could is Sage, but it’s easy to ground it with almost any of the other colors here. The overall color scheme is so flattering on me—very elegant, easy to apply and wear. I’ve already hit pan on Oz, that’s how much I’ve worn this palette. Only shade I feel meh about is Flare, cause it just doesn’t work with anything else in here; and it’ll be easy to move it to one of my other ND palettes.
