Maybe it will work for you

I just really didn’t like this product. It didn’t sit right on my skin and tended to get cakey, even when I didn’t use any skincare products or primer. Everyone’s got different skin, so maybe it will be an all-star product for you

Sooo good

Shade match on this product is amazing. They really got the undertones right. This stick is so flattering and lasts all day on. It really looks like my skin if it was perfect. I have a lot of redness and sensitivity and it covers everything perfectly without looking cakey or textured.

Not worth it

I wanted to like this because it was quite a splurge, and the color was nice… it just felt a little too cakey for me and made my skin look bumpier, so I wouldn’t repurchase.

This is a versatile, secret weapon

This is not a foundation. This is a versatile makeup tool that can do pretty much anything you want. The best thing to do is to use a very dense brush (like a full-coverage concealer brush), swipe the stick with the brush, and press the brush directly over hydrated skin. This will create the most beautiful skin-like, thin, undetectable truly medium coverage.. What's more—it is TRULY self-setting. There's no need to put powder on it; it will not move. Another way to use it (see, told you it can do everything) is to apply it over any patches that develop in your makeup (e.g. from wearing sunglasses). This stick can be applied over wet foundation, powder, anything! It'll just blend and self-set. The only downside is that it does start to separate after about 4 hours but the stick format makes it so that you can carry it with you and re-apply over any areas of separation. I'm glad I took a risk and bought this, despite some of the negative reviews. I've never used a product this multifaceted.

Maybe not for drier skin

I wanted to love this stick. I have dry, perimenopausal skin that’s in good shape besides the dryness. I make sure to moisturize and exfoliate before application and I’ve tried it applied directly from the stick and picking up the product with a brush and both methods give me a cakey finish that emphasizes wrinkles and pores. Drier skin folks should def try to sample in store before committing. The spf serum is a much better fit for my skin type.

I heard about this brand because it's supposed to be "clean" of chemicals, bought it trusting it was going to be clean, but it's not. Beautiful skin

This is absolutely beautiful and so skin like. I was amazed how well the color matched my skin tone exactly and melted into my skin. I am very happy with the color I choose.

Shows all creases and dries skin

This stick is not working for me. When applying this my skin looks super dry uneven and it shows all the creases. It also feels fairly heavy on the skin. I even use Ilia's barrier cream underneath, which is not improving the outcome.

I was hopeful

I wanted it to cover my redness, but it ends up looking too pasty. I used skin barrier under it- which is AMAZING, but it just sort of skids on me. I think I gotten it perfectly smooth under the magnifying mirror and it ends up looking like too much makeup, and I like a very natural look. It's not for me. I think this would be best for young skin, and my skin is almost 70 years old.

Dry

The complexion stick is quite dry and tends to emphasize rather than reduce lines.
