Huile Orchidée Bleue

A revelation!

Now here's a revelation...an oil aimed at dry skin types that actually agreed with my oily skin! Background: I decided to do a little experiment by applying this to one half of my face and Clarins 'Lotus Oil' on the other. I used probably no more than 1-2 drops each night after toning and whilst skin was still damp. As stated previously in the 'Lotus' review I do think the transparent packaging doesn't protect the properties of the oils very well. Also from an ingredients perspective, most of the oils in this one seemed like they were aimed at dry skins and I really wasn't too sure if Patchouli oil would break me out (with it being 2nd place on the ingredients list). To my surprise I did not break out. I also felt like my skin was overall better hydrated when applying this, compared to before. I feel both this and the Lotus oil are quite good, almost (but not quite) on a par with Decleor's aromessences, which are amongst the best facial oils I've tried. I can't vouch for any anti-ageing benefits in the short amount of time I used it, but Blue Orchid is definitely more hydrating than Lotus - which has a more 'astringent' effect. And likewise a very short ingredients list with more fragrance in it than many of the other beneficial ingredients which is the only thing that I feel slightly lets it down. ~ My Sephora Top 7 must-have list ~ (My top 7 must-have beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Sephora) 1. Why can’t you see the entire box when you are writing your review? How ridiculous: got product as gift, shared w/husband, we both loved results and smell. Husband didn’t secure lid, kid broke bottle. Bathroom smells great, we need to buy a new bottle.

Staple in my skincare routine!

Pros smell! its smells amazing, herbal and soft. I love applying right before bed texture is smooth and softens skin works well with retinol, I use this with adapalene gel you need like 2-3 small drops for your whole face this is at least my 3rd or 4th bottle--I've been using it for years Con depends on your budget, it is an investment

Razoável

Tinha uma grande expetativa em relação a este produto, a minha pele encontra-se num estado descamativo, pensei que este produto nutrisse a minha pele com mais profundidade...é para peles desidratadas...

Soft Sandalwood

It hasn’t broken me out or clogged my pores—which was my main concern. It smells like creamy sandalwood and a little goes a long way. I use it all over my face and neck before my creams. I think this was the best choice oil versus the other ones and the ingredients are really good. My skin is hydrated and freshly prepped. I think it’s giving me a glow and it’s great for the price.

best facial oil for dry skin

This is my holy grail facial oil in the winter months. I have dry, sensitive skin and especially during the fry and cold winter months I reach for this both morning and night. I use one full dropper before moisturizer and press it into my face. It leaves my face feeling soft and hydrated, not to mention I love the earthy smell. It’s a splurge for me but now a must-have.

it works

I have very dry skin and the winter weather does a number on me. This oil saved me from a dry frenzy. My skin feels very hydrated and the smell is addicting. It was strong at first, but comes to show you how earthy smells are so soothing, now I need the smell to feel at ease. Like aromatherapy on your face.

Odeur entêtante

L'huile convient très bien a ma peau..douce lumineuse et rebondie au réveil..à l'application l'odeur est tres agréable mais hélas il persiste plusieurs heures après une odeur très entêtante proche de la cannelle...à tel point que cela m'a réveillé, que j'ai dû changer les draps en pleine nuit et prendre un médicament contre le mal de tête pour pouvoir me rendormir....je ne sais pas ce que je vais faire du produit acheté hier....quel dommage......

Odeur incommodante

Très déçue par cette huile à l'odeur incommodante. En effet comme mentionné sur le flacon surtout éviter le contour des yeux car elle est trop forte. Huile trop grasse du coup ne pénètre pas bien. Pour le prix je m'attendais à mieux de cette marque.

esthetician loves this!

Absolutely love this oil, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I use it every night over my moisturizer. I highly recommend this to anyone who is dry or combo skin leaning dry. As a licensed esthetician, I would have to say this is by far one of my favorite and most effective facial oils. It does have an earthy smell, I personally don’t mind it.
