New Formula is AWFUL

I’ve been using this cleanser for a long time and loved it. WHY would they change it?! The new formula smells weird and it BURNS my skin! Returning.

Why mess with something that works?!?!

This used to be my favorite cleanser for years. Since they changed the formula it is awful. It smells horrible and stings my face. Why change something that was working for so many people? You lost a customer Sunday Riley!!!!!

this face wash has been my holy grail for years when it suddenly stopped working for me a couple months ago. i saw reviews saying they changed the formula and im so sad. i have very sensitive oily skin so its very hard for me to find products that work for me

I thought it was just me until I confirmed from the the reviews. It smells terrible and now I’m looking to return. Formula has definitely been changed

What happened?!? The smell if awful!

So, I'm not crazy! I came here to see what happened to my favorite face wash. I've been using this for years and this time around it smelled like a sneeze from someone who is sick. (I know that's oddly specific lol) But it STINKS! And it lingers! 🤢 Why would they change such a perfect product? I'm so sad and I'm gonna have to return.

I’ve been using this cleanser for over a year now and loved it until they changed the formula. I can’t get past the horrible smell so I’ve returned my latest two purchases due to the awful smell. So disappointed!

Terrible smell

The smell of this is so bad I couldn’t continue to use - it would linger on my face and towels/clothing all day. Not amazing enough to justify the price either.

Ruined formula

Been using this cleanser for over 5 years now and they changed the formula. It smells like Elmer’s glue and is white. Checked their website and they added flower and coconut fragrance to it. Like why…it burns my face supposed to be

Did they change the formula??

I’ve been using this cleanser for years and it’s been my go-to. Recently I noticed a slight change in the color and scent of the formula. I fear they may have changed it?? Or maybe I got a bad batch. It made my face break out in a rash. /:

Actual skin improvement!!

So glad I switched back this face cleanser. It leaves my skin so soft and fresh without stripping it. The skin on my face feels much more balanced and after using it for a few weeks now, I no longer feel like my skin goes “back to square one” over the course of the day. The formula is a little thin but that doesn’t seem to harm its effectiveness.

Not for Makeup Removal - great otherwise!!

Only 4 stars because it isn’t the best at removing makeup. But I like this cleanser - gentle, clean smell, leaves skin feeling soft and renewed. But if you have on a full face of makeup, or a lot of eye makeup, I would cleanse with something else even if you use a makeup remover prior.

I have been using this product for years now. I won’t wash my face with anything else. It is gentle and balances my combination skin. It also helps with hormonal acne which is why I started my teen daughter on it and her skin is beautiful and clear. I love this face wash, which is why I had to write my first review ever. :)
