A Contour Want

I bought this brush with the shapeshifter palette and it works well with it and others. I will say, I like the round, dense end the best. I like to clean my brushes often, and the fan end just doesn’t do it for me after being cleaned so much. It is pretty thin and a little messy for my taste. I would prefer a fan brush with a little more precision; the dense, round brush is great for cream contour and blending. I would recommend for the experienced contourist.

Pinceau de qualité

Ce Pinceau est top en terme de qualité , il est très bien pour utiliser une palette contouring de n’importe quelle marque . Je pense cependant qu'il faut avoir le coup de main , car l'embout rond est pratique mais pas facile a manier au départ , mais il donne un résultat surprenant si vous dosez bien votre produit. Je l'ai testé avec une palette en poudre et une en crème , pas de souci il s’adapte . Sauf pour l'embout large qui ne fonctionne qu'avec la poudre .

Love the round tip end but...

I absolutely adore the round tip end of this brush. The bristles are nicely densely packed, meaning none of the hairs will ever stick out so the brush always retains its shape. It picks up both cream and powder contour easily and gives you a smooth contour application which you can also use this brush to buff out. I can't really say the same for the fan tip end of this brush though... I haven't really found a use for it because even though it's a nice fan shape, the bristles are too soft and sparse and bend too easily. It's not 100% efficient for sweeping on highlight, but the most I think you can do with the fan tip of this brush is to dust away any eyeshadow fallout...? Not really sure if the price justifies the one useful end of this brush, but I would absolutely repurchase if Urban Decay releases individual brushes for just the round tip brush! So I could just stick this into my makeup brush cup without fear of damaging the other end of this brush hehe.

The fan brush is good and lets you control the exact amount of color you want to get. The contour brush feels very dense and seems to put out a dense harsh line of the contour. Maybe it works better with cream based products
