Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for dry skin! I am almost 40 with dry, sensitive, eczema-prone skin. This smells lovely, transfers nicely, and so I used it day and night. It took almost a bottle before I realized THIS was the problem! It's been 4 days since I stopped using it and dry, flaky skin all over my face (which is unusual, as my patches are by my mouth) are now gone. I was exfoliating, too, trying to get rid of the flakes, but it was THIS doing the damage. There's alcohol in here, so I'm going to blame that. Give it a try, but don't be afraid to take a pause and see if your skin actually improves. I'm going back to FAB's hydrating toner (which is fixing the problem this toner caused).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from average toner. doesn't do much [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toner does have simply ingredients, no harsh chemicals, less irritants. It feels nice on my face but it also doesn't do anything other than hydrating. Toner is one of my favorite steps in my routine, and I like to pack some skin loving galactomyces or other easily absorbed ferminted goodness in there. My skin drinks up the toner in the morning so I want to make it count. I got this as a free sample, but wouldn't purchase, because for this price. You can get either a Sephora brand spray for $10, or many other fun toners sprays that have simple ingredients for much less. I don't like to waste any steps in my routine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A glass of water for your skin I used to stay away from hydrating products since I have oily skin, but I’ve come to realize that it’s essential to my skin goals. I tried this because I’ve heard so much about the water bomb cream and my toner at the time wasn’t doing it for me. From the first swipe of my cotton pad, I was shocked at the stark contrast. My last toner wasn’t drying, but it didn’t give my skin that juiciness I’m looking for. This did. My skin felt hydrated, supple, and glistened underneath my terrible room lighting. It would be perfect if it was cruelty free. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this toner!! highly recommend!! I think I’ve purchased this product three times already! Probably THE best toner I’ve ever used(and I’ve tried out a lot of toners)!! I really appreciate how this toner isn’t super watery bc it doesn’t drip when I put it in the palm of my hand. This toner really hydrates my skin and find that I don’t have to use as much moisturizer either as a result. It doesn’t feel uncomfortable or sticky and doesn’t break me out— i can actually feel it getting absorbed into my skin. The price might seem steep to some, but I still genuinely recommend this product because it lasts me a good 6-7 months(I use it twice a day), so it’s pretty good value.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from denatured alcohol in a HYDRATING toner? Full disclosure, I haven't actually tried this, but after looking at the ingredient list I felt like I had to say something. Denatured alcohol is one of the main ingredients in this... but it's a hydrating product??? that makes no sense. Denatured alcohol strips your skin. I love Belif. I use their hydrating eye cream and their oil cleanser as my first cleanse, but I always make sure to check their ingredient list first because they put alcohol in a lot of products (the bad kind of alcohol, because there are good kinds like fatty alcohols). I stopped using the aqua bomb moisturizer and the witch hazel toner for this reason.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from belif did it again! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m an avid user of belif products for the last 7+ years and it is my go to product. I have dry skin (no oil) and hate the fact that most skincare products feel heavy due to the amt of hydration substances needed for dry skin ppl. Belif is super light yet manages to make my skin feel soft the next day. The toner does have to be paired with serum or moisturizer for lasting hydration but it definititely makes your skin feel clean and plump not clean and dry which some toners do. Can’t speak for combo or oily skin but for dry skin definitely try sampling at sephora!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AM/PM Skincare Staple for My Sensitive Skin!! I love this toner!! I started using this while I was on Accutane because it is super gentle, without any harsh astringents or fragrances. I kept using it even afterwards for the same reasons. It is lightweight but definitely makes a difference in my skin. My face feels more supple after applying and goes great under my Vitamin C in the morning and under hyaluronic acid/moisturizer at night. Tip: At first, I was using this as like a cleansing toner with cotton pads. However, I saw a TikTok saying that rubbing cotton pads on your face, despite whatever good product you're using them with, can CAUSE acne due to the abrasive texture. When I stopped using this in a wiping motion with cotton pads and started putting it directly in my hands and pressing it into the skin I saw a huge difference. Highly recommend that method!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nope [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received this product I was very excited to try it. After using it the first night I did notice my skin was so soft! However, after using it for a few days I noticed I started getting white heads and bumps on my skin that looked like a rash. After looking at the ingredients I knew exactly what was happening. This product has essential oils and alcohol. When putting the ingredients through a cosmetic analyzer the last few ingredients which are the essential oils comes up as allergens. I know that's what was breaking me out because I've had this problem before. This sucks because I did like it at first. So I won't continue to use this product. But if your skin can tolerate the oils I say give it a try.
