Rated 1 out of 5 by Naonat from Leaves ugly shiny sheen Although it is supposed to be oil free, this cream feels very heavy and creates a shiny semi-opaque sheen on the surface of my face that stays wet and sticky unless I set it heavily with powder or mattifying products. It is the worst product I've used under the makeup as the shine is so strong it permeates through a layer of foundation plus finishing powder. My skin is not even oily in winter, it is rather dry. In terms of the skin benefits, I have not noticed any improvement whatsoever after nearly a month of use. If anything, my skin feels slightly itchy and irritates when I use this in the morning. I honestly can't find any positives about this product unfortunately.

I placed an order for some of favorites products after seeing an offer for two Clinique Smart moisturizers (this one and the night version) for free with a $40 purchase. I didn't know I would get a random skin type sample, dry combination/type 2, because no choice was offered to select the sample's type in checkout. I loved the Clinique Smart serum and was really excited to see what the moisturizers could do, but I am a solid and obvious type 3. Unfortunately this is too thick and oily in consistency and I find my T-zone shiny right away because of it. I'm really disappointed and will probably think twice about ordering simply when I see free offers I'd like to try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Skimama from Absolutely Love It I'm in my mid 40's and have had skin cancer and I've always struggled with finding a sunscreen that still let my skin breath that wasn't greasy or white/pasty looking. This goes on smooth and soaks in nicely, I never feel greasy. It's not stark white, so it looks very natural going on. I wear it under my foundation without a problem and without my makeup sliding off. I'll also wear it without make up at all and feel completely comfortable that I don't look pasty. I finally found a sunscreen product that I don't need to compromise on and I wear it everyday without thinking twice. It's a must in my morning routine.

Les couches successives de ma crème habituelle n'y changeait rien. J'ai testé cette crème dont j'avais reçu un échantillon récemment, et boum, en une utilisation mon problème était réglé, en deux, j'ai retrouvé une peau toute douce et illuminée. Le tout sans laisser de film gras sur la peau et avec une odeur neutre. Je suis donc convaincue à 200% de son effet réparateur et hydratant, sur ces points, c'est l'une des meilleures crèmes que j'ai pu essayer. Je n'ai par contre pas l'âge de juger de son efficacité sur les rides, les taches ou la fermeté.

No matter how long I wait or how sparingly I apply it, this cream leaves my face sticky and prevents my foundation from going on evenly and covering at all, even if I use a primer! The Night Cream was a bit sticky too, but it didn't matter since I wasn't putting anything over it. I assumed the day cream would have a smoother finish since Clinique would expect us to use it under foundation, etc. I was wrong, and will have to return this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Healthy Skin from Only SPF 15 Love the cream, but my dermatologist suggest minimum SPF 30 moisturizer for all the time. I asked a Clinique rep, why is Clinique not bumping up the SPF in their creams to 30??? The answer was, because some people are allergic to the ingredients of sunscreen. Well I think, they will not buy it with SPF 15 in them either! At this point I use 2 different serums for different problems, the 3 steps moisturizer, this Smart moisturizer with SPF 15 and a sunscreen with a higher SPF! To whom it may concern at Clinique, how can you change my mind to go with a different brand of daily moisturizer with a higher SPF?

The smart serum is brilliant in itself, but i saw an immediate difference (i'm talking 2 days) When I added the smart day and night moisturizers to my routine. They just even out the skin tone, moisturize (without being greasy), give you that healthy skin glow and really just make your skin look so smooth and beautiful. Definitely worth the investment for all of the products because they really do give you beautiful results.

I have used the Clinique Smart Night (dry to very dry skin) for years now and I am so disappointed that you are no longer offering it. When I called your 800 number, the person could not make a recommendation for a replacement. Can you please bring back the night cream or at least tell us what we should be using in lieu of the night cream.
