Makes my hair thinner

Makes my hair fall off! It also thins my hair Out! Sure, it smells nice and hair feels smooth, but not worth the buy because repeat use (2x a week) thins out my already thin hair. I switched to Ceremonia and thank goodness for that.

It does what it promises

So far this is the best shampoo I ever used. I have dry curly hair and I feel this shampoo is so gentle to my hair. I feel how soft my hair gets when I’m washing it. It really gives what it promises.

went through an entire bottle and I love this stuff!! my hair does feel “dry” after washing, like stringy and tangly; but, after you put the conditioner in, it leaves your hair so soft! love it

Perfect for Medium To thick hair.

Just as it says, it does hydrates very well & leave the hair completely nourished.

niacinamide should not be in hair products

changed formula. I loved the OG, but this one makes my hair even more dry, and the conditioner makes my hair feel like straw ! I also noticed my scalp getting more oily but also itchy from the product .

Sodium Lauryl Sulfates Suck!

Terrible. Dried out my hair and gave me a rash. This shampoo containSodium Lauryl Sultafe, which is an ingredient know to cause dryness, redness and irritation. Stay away!

Honesty this product is not the best. Yes it cuts on drying time for your hair but I noticed it doesn’t leave my hair soft or smooth after and I used the conditioner as well. My hair actually felt worse .

Waste of money

It doesn’t work, it didn’t make any si for change in my hair, waste of money.

Not My Favorite

Not my favorite, I love the hair mask from this line but the shampoo made my hair greasy and took forever to rinse out. I prefer my Virtue repair shampoo instead.

New Formulation + New Problems

When my hair stylist introduced me to the Kerastase Nutritive Bain Magistral Line (this Nutritive line was specifically formulated for those with thick and dry hair), I absolutely fell in love. Not only was the Shampoo luxurious in texture and scent but it really did hydrate and strengthen my hair that even my husband, who I had also try the shampoo, also couldn't help but notice the difference after every shower. However, as of Fall 2023, I noticed that the Bain Magistral line was no longer available and in its place was this new "Nutritive Hydrating Shampoo for Medium to Thick Dry Hair" advertised as being plant-based and with Niacinamide to boot. Since I was all out of my Bain Magistral, I figured I would give it a chance but unfortunately, as is the case with any type of new formula or change, this new line is not a go. The moment I opened the shampoo, all I could think was how much the shampoo smelled of chemicals like the ones used to clean a bathroom or kitchen. The shampoo also immediately felt dry on my hair and scalp even though it lathered. Within a few weeks into using this new shampoo, I also noticed small itch spots (almost like a rash) on my scalp that I otherwise never used to have with the Bain Magistral line and my hair felt like straw. If you were a fan of the old Bain Magistral line or looking to try a shampoo line that will hydrate your hair, I would not recommend this line at all. In the last couple of weeks of use, I have noticed an increase in dryness and sensitivity of my scalp and hair. Even my husband, who once enjoyed using the Bain Magistral line with me even commented that his hair "doesn't feel as nice" as it used to. Why, Kerastase, why? :(

This did not do anything for my hair. In fact, I think it caused dandruff. I used this in combination with the conditioner. Also it sort of smells like Raid ant spray?

Will leave dry hair greasy

I have tried a lot of shampoo and conditioner combos and was really excited to try this one but it made my hair so oily at the roots and I have very dry hair. I gave the shampoo a few tries and the result didn’t change
