Great primer!

I really like this product. It went on smoothly and you can’t even tell you have it on.

Fills in all pores!

I was SO excited when I received this in my Influenster box! I had my eye on it for a while now and planned on getting it once finishing my current primer. I LOVE IT! It has a creamy texture and goes on smoothly. It automatically fills in all pores and is a nice base for your foundation. The only downfall is I feel that it gets a little too powdery and can make your foundation streak at times, if too much is applied. If you use a tiny bit, it’s fantastic!

Amazing! I was super scared to step out and use this, especially when I saw it was green but it works amazing! I have super red and splotchy skin and this helps equal out the redness. I am so much more confident when wearing makeup because of this redness correcter.

IT WORKS

I’ve been trying it out for the last few days and WOW! My skin has a lot of redness. Usually I remedy this by foundation and concealer. I used the Step 1 Primer and not only did I have to use less foundation and concealer, but overall the redness in my skin reduced! This primer evened my skin tone, smoothed everything out, soothed my skin, and smelled AMAZING! It also helped my make up last longer than normal!

I absolutely love this primer but I don’t think it’s worth it for the price point and the amount you get for it. I think a cheaper dupe for this would be the wet and wild primer or maybe even the ELF primer for those looking for it.

I recieved this primer from Makeup Forever and Influenster for free to try and review. I've always struggled with redness and it showing through even when I have a full face of makeup on. This primer fixed my redness, smoothed out my complexion and help my makeup stay in place!

its okay I have a DUPE!

I bought the small version because i saw so many reviews for this product. However i have worn this 2 times and the first time i wore it alone... its did a fine job of keeping my oils at bay but it made my pores appear a little bigger. The second time i tried it i used it on one side of my face and the other side i used the dupe : Rimmel stay matte primer . The rimmel one made me more matte kept me from getting oily and made my pores look smaller almost nonexistent. It has that creamy white texture like the MUFE too!

very mattifying

The Smoothing Primer goes on VERY matte, enough so that it left my fairly oily skin looking dull. It has a slight tint to it that was nice (for lighter skin tones) - if the texture had worked for me, I would have been able to skip foundation.

difficult application

i have extremely oily skin and was directed to this by a sephora employee. while it does work with keeping your skin matte, it makes your foundation look SO cakey. my foundation is already on the more unnatural looking/full coverage side, so this doesn’t help at all. it pills when rubbing it in. after trying multiple application techniques i have given up. i just wouldn’t waste your money with this one!

Dry and cakey

This is my lease fave primer I’ve ever tried. Got a sample and used twice. Under liquid makeup it looks flaky and cakey. Very drying and tight on skin. I had to remove liquid makeup and reapply this looked so bad.

best ever

Ever since I tried this primer, I can’t imagine using any other kind. It also has the best smell ever! It lasts all day and makes your face look flawless without drying it out.

Yet another garbage primer that doesn’t do anything for me!!
