Don’t know if I’m fully sold on it yet, first of all the shade rang isn’t good and the foundation does oxidize. I have to go return my to go get the lightest shade. The coverage is good and it does look good all day but I was kinda expecting more coverage? Especially for the price

Beautiful Natural Finish

The finish of this foundation is not cakey at all. It is a pretty runny consistency compared to many other foundations. With one pump I covered my entire face with a sheer-medium coverage. Beautiful everyday foundation.

I used to be a devoted user of the Dior Star Foundation. It was my absolute favorite, but Sephora stopped carrying it and I don’t think it’s in production anymore. I had tried the old Dior Forever foundation once and it was super thick and mask like, so I decided to use the Dior Nude foundation for a while which I liked and even tried the Nude Air Serum foundation while was great except too drying for my already dry skin. I’ve tried all diff kinds since to include Nars, YSL, smashbox, too faced, etc. And the IT Cosmetics CC cream in the summer time. I loved the YSL All Hours foundation the most, but it still wasn’t my beloved Dior Star. So since they reformulated the Dior Forever, I’ve been curious if I’d like it. I assumed it would be heavy like the original, but to my surprise it’s so light! It spreads so thin, yet covers really well. And it LASTS. All. Day. Long. I’m a hair stylist so I’m on my feet all day and have blowdryers and hair sprays and hot steam from sinks, etc surrounding my face all day. This stuff lasts through it all and never gathers in fine lines, separates or fades. And best of all, it doesn’t dry out my skin or cause breakouts. (I have a very good skincare routine with dermalogica which helps). Id give this 5 stars if the shade selection was better. I’m fair/light with yellow undertones, but most of diors shade range is neutral/cool...which is a pinky orange undertone. Thankfully the lightest shade is light enough that when it oxidizes a little, it’s not too bad if I use some light bronzer on my neck to match. But I wish there was lighter shade with yellow undertone.

Go down a shade. This oxidizes!!

I have tried 2x to get a color match. I am a Mac nc25, and I had to go down to 015 Tender Beige (in store, not on this site), which looks a little pink, but it is appropriate on my neutral-cool skin. The color that would be recommended for me was the 020 level, but it went oompa loompa orange quickly. Try it out for a few hours before you buy! **If you are fair, you may be out of luck.

the best foundation I’ve found for my skin

I’m never orange and never dry and it doesn’t settle into my creases. It lasts all day and then some for me. I love how buildable and light it is.

Ne convient pas forcément aux peaux sensibles

J'ai ce fond de teint depuis 4 années, je change de teinte l'hiver et l'été lorsque la peau se hâle. Toutefois depuis quelques mois j'ai la peau hypersensible, qui reagit très vite aux agressions extérieures et aux choses banales de la vie. La chaleur, un produit non spécifique pour peau sensible, ma peau rougit et chauffe. Dans ce caf de figure, le fond de teint ne tient pas le bon rôle. Celui-ci couvre mal les rougeurs voire pas du tout, il assèche les zones déjà sèches, et du coup le rendu n'est pas au rendez-vous. Les pores sont visibles, le fond de teint "marque" les zones sèches. Je dois donc changer de marque, car le fond de teint ne me convient plus. Dommage...

Awesome foundation!

Love love love this foundation! It’s very smooth and gives a natural matte finish that lasts all day with out creasing or fading. The coverage is medium to full and goes on with a light airy feel. The shade finder that Sephora has is perfect to help find the right shade too.
