Amazing foundation!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is a fantastic foundation!! For reference, I have oily acne medium skin. This foundation looks so good and flawless on the skin! It is medium coverage, so it doesn't cover everything, but it looks great when you cover any spots with concealer. The foundation is more on the liquidier side, which I feel like makes it a lot easier to blend and also helps it looking natural on the skin! It leaves the skin with a satin-like finish and topped with blush and powder, it looks fantastic and blurred! Usually my base makeup ends up super oily after a few hours, with this foundation I found that my skin didn't get as oily like with other foundations and also not as quick. The foundation also has fragrance to it, but my skin didn't react or anything to it! Overall, this foundation is very nice!! I do feel like it's worth the price, and I will repurchase it in the future!

Picking shades is hard in the deep/dark category

This is a beautiful foundation. It is light but has ALOT of coverage. It is very glowy until you blend it out & it has just enough glow/radiance. There is a slight scent like most luxury foundations but it’s nothing that is too much. For me, picking a shade was a little hard (a deep neutral girl ) and shade 13 was just a little too light. It matched the center of my face but around the parameter, you can definitely tell it’s not my shade. I already ordered the next deep neutral shade to give it a shot.

Consistently provides a flawless complexion!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Love this foundation, it has great coverage and is buildable. The packaging works well with the product. I some times fall between two shades, I love that they have a shade range that accommodates just about anyone. This is one I will consistently reach for on an everyday basis. I did notice it separates a bit with a sunscreen I was using, so I took away a star for that. But honestly, I’d rather swap out the sunscreen to continue using the foundation

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have to admit I am so happy to try out this foundation, compared to the hundreds of foundations I have tried this one is definitely top 10, the price is a bit steep but it is worth every penny. Giorgio Armani was able to created a foundation that is lightweight and looks like skin . So silky and gives a flawless finish.

My new fav foundation

This Luminous Silk foundation leaves such a natural glow finish. The packaging is great and the product is super blendable and buildable. It doesn’t have a strong scent either which is great.

The packaging makes this product super easy to apply and travel with because of the pump. The coverage is very light but it is the perfect amount for a natural makeup day.

FINALLY my holy grail foundation

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have been wearing make up for 17 years and this has been THE best foundation I’ve ever worn. It’s so light, covers naturally and holds up. I work in a very hot and humid environment and this didn’t budge at all. I will be repurchasing again and again. I can’t see myself using any other foundation

Great product

Goes on the skin beautifully and leaves a very natural finish. I have oily skin though so I do have to blot every few hours. Super blendable and a little goes a long way.

Blurs and feels light

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This luminous foundation has a nice light/medium coverage, that can be built up with a second coat. It has a blurring effect on the skin adding a slight filter like quality when applied, and feels very light on the skin. The glass bottle is thick and feels luxurious. It has a pleasant skincare like scent, reminds me of some thicker moisturizer brands. Great wide range of colors.

Decent, but not my favorite

The Armani Luminous Silk foundation has a lightweight natural finish and medium buildable coverage, with Micro-fil technology to help blur and minimize imperfections. It is very easy to apply using a blender, brush, or fingers. I love the finish; when done properly it looks really beautiful and skin-like. I have received compliments on my skin, and people have thought I was not wearing foundation. The first issue I have is that the shade range needs to expand; I got the lightest shade available (1.5 Neutral) and it was too dark and much too warm, leaving an orange cast to my fair skin (and I am not SUPER fair, either…). They need to expand their shade range to include the fairest and deepest of skin shades, and expand within the fair and deep undertones as well. Armani is a multi-billion dollar company that can surely afford to be more inclusive. My next issue with this foundation is that it tends to move, settle, or separate on my oily areas (forehead, nose). This issue can usually be solved with a mattifying primer, but if it’s a particularly hot/humid or active day, or if I am wearing it for a longer period of time, I have to touch-up or deal with it not looking right. If you have oilier skin, this may be a little more work for you to wear. For myself, with all of the foundations out on the market, it makes more sense to find one that suits my skin type versus purchasing and adding more product to my routine and skin to make this one work. Until they at least expand the shade range, I won’t repurchase. If they come out with more fair shades I will try it again using a suitable primer.

A well-rounder

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I must be the last person on earth to try this foundation…it was worth the wait! This was a near perfect match to my summer skin tone - I’ve been using it every day since it arrived and I’m obsessed! I’m sensitive to smells but this has a very light scent - it’s not off putting in the least. The shade range is pretty extensive (my moms a light olive and really struggles to find close matches; she found a good match with this brand!), especially compared to other well-known brands. The coverage is medium and it really shines here - I typically stick to light-medium coverage and this does a great job at both. I can apply a light layer for grocery runs or a heavier layer when I’m going out and it excels in both regards, especially how natural and “like me” it looks! I’m overall extremely pleased with this foundation and it’s been able to perform well, regardless how I decide to apply (typically fingers or a beauty blender) - this is a great, solid purchase!
