Big, greasy disappontment

I have tried using this product 4-5 times over the course of a few months. Every time I try it, it seems to leave my hair greasier looking than the last time. I thought maybe I wasn't rinsing it out well enough or using too much of it, but no matter what I do, it leaves my hair looking like I haven't washed it in weeks. This is not a cheap product, so it's a real disappointment to have to throw it out after only using a small amount of the bottle.

Made hair disgustingly greasy looking (the ends) and does not smell nice. I used the recommend amount. Many Ouai products are great, this is not one of them.

Left my hair greasy and dull!

I have fine, porous hair, and this left my hair feeling greasy and dull. I’m a big fan of OUAI, but this product is definitely not for my hair type. Tried it twice, following instructions. Same unpleasant result each time. I received this as a sample; won’t be purchasing.

Horrible, hair is greasy and stringy after every use

Franchement horrible. Rien de positif à dire sur ce produit. Il rends les cheveux extrêmement gras, même en les séchant on dirait que je les ai pas lavé depuis des mois (effet gras mouillé dégueulasse). Bref, très déçue de la marque 👎🏻

Exceeded expectations!

Noticed a difference immediately. I have really thick, wavy, frizzy hair and this has added so much softness and shine. Styling has become easier and faster too.

Absolutely not.

Does not offer any shine or glass - just makes your hair greasy and straw-like. Literally how does a prestigious hair brand like OUAI miss the mark so badly on this?!

I tried the Ouai Hair Gloss In-Shower Shine Treatment and I love how easy it is to use. It makes my hair feel smooth, soft, and shiny without weighing it down. I would definitely recommend it and repurchase in the future.

Good, not great

A good product, but if you use too much it leaves my hair feeling SO greasy. Once I figured out the correct amount for my hair (super thin, shoulder length, and frizzy) I have noticed an increase in shine and decrease in frizz. I would avoid your roots, and you also don't need to leave the product in your hair for the recommended 10 minutes (I found 5 works best for me). Would probably be better if you have thicker, longer hair.

STRAIGHT GREASE

LAWDDD ITS GREASY!!!! I love ouai products. Always have! So I didn’t hesitate to buy this. Lmfao. I won’t again. Two stars. Because it did leave my hair SOOOOOOOOO soft. But let me tell you it was SO GREASY!!!! I couldn’t get it out of my fine blonde hair. It looked like I had literally put baking grease all in my hair was like “yep that will do!” I had to walk around for two days looking like a grease ball. It literally took 4 shampoos to get it to a place where it was manageable.

Doesn’t work for me

I really wanted to love this product, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. The texture feels a bit strange when applying, and even when I used only a pea-size amount as directed, it left my hair feeling greasy rather than glossy. I tried it several times with the same outcome, so it’s probably just not a good match for my hair type.

DONT USE A LOT

I only gave it three stars because I really can’t give a good review yet. I think I used a lot. I put three whole handfuls in my shoulder length hair! I could feel in the shower that it was going to make my hair greasy. I could not get it all out even after rinsing a long time. I will try again next week and use only a little bit. I was hoping that this would work so I’m willing to try again
