day 1

i must tell you guys, i NEVER write reviews. i have bought this product to get rid of some last year damage from mexican sun, make my face fresher and remove some sagginess and fine lines that are starting to appear. I put a pea size bit on my carefully cleansed face (all other products remained the same) and went to bed, i woke up, looked in the mirror and saw my face minus the last 5 years. Seriously! my face was rested, fresh and glowing from the inside. This is day 1, though. will write more comments later on. because my skin is acne prone and so far i haven't tried a product that did not cause a least a minor break-out. of course my fine lines and dark spots did not disappear over night, this is not a magic potion. i will give it another couple of weeks and write another review. so far, i was pleasantly surprised with the first results and my day was off to a great start!

Seems to be working!

This was a very pricey splurge, but, thankfully it seems to be working. My husband almost choked at the price, but even he noticed a difference in about 2 weeks. Minimizes pores

Disappointed

I purchased this product after hearing rave reviews about how it transformed other people's skin. I have not had those results and had used the product for over 6 months. I found it to be fairly moisturizing, but that can be achieved with products much cheaper than this. I saw no difference on evening of skin tone or brightness which was the reason I bought this in the first place. 2 stars for leaving skin soft and fairly well moisturized. Not worth the price.

Just OK

I had such high hopes for this product & had to really talk myself into splurging on it. I purchased this product for evening out my skin tone/brightening effect & minimizing wrinkles. I have been using this serum for 3+ months & overall I am disappointed with the results. Although there has been some improvement in both skin tone & wrinkles reduction, overall I would say not enough to justify purchasing again. (normally would rate 3 stars for some improvement, but took off an additional star for price)

Good not great

I liked this product, but did not feel that it was worth the money. After using it I experienced some temporary tightness. I felt that my skin was smoother, but not dramatically so. I did not notice any difference in luminosity, but only used it for about a week. I began using it twice a day and had a minor break out which I attributed to Prevage and returned the product. Now, I think the break out may have been related to another product.

Amazing product

This serum is absolutely amazing. I would give it six stars except for price. I only wish it were more affordable because my skin feels so smooth and amazing after use.

saw results within hours...love it

first of all, i have to say that i just received a sample of this recently and only used it once, but i HAD to write about it right away. I'm 24 so i dont have deep wrinkles yet but i do have emerging fine lines/laugh lines, and slight fine lines under my eyes. ive always been concerned because when i smile my laugh lines crease deep, so ive used a lot of other serums not noticing any results. i was assuming its because i have decent skin, and counting on it mainly for preventative measures. but wow... i put a TINY bit of this on my face. it made my eyes water and tingled, so i thought it was going to irritate my skin. that went away very quickly, though, and i ended up falling asleep for about three hours. after waking i was shocked. i caught my reflection passing a mirror and stopped to do a double take. it had already plumped my face, and my fine lines around my mouth were completely invisible. my entire face just looked different... it looked so fresh, healthy and even. no blotches, color spots or fine lines whatsoever. It even kept my face from deeply creasing when i smiled! beautiful! i guess this is some kind of temp filling effect, but if the preventative and reversal ingredients in it are as good as theyre supposed to be, i would love to see what it could do after 12 weeks. * for the price, i had no interest in purchasing this... i'm going to try lancome genefique first (i already tried kate somerville's cytocell and really wasnt as impressed, although it did make my skin very soft and i could go out without any foundation, yay!) but unless that has similar results, i WILL be splurging on this one. :(I really wish there was a compare option for similar products on Sephora) Bottom line: -Slight tingling/may irritate sensitive skin -Skin was slightly shiny, may be too oily for some -For the $, I'd be upset if it didnt work for me, and for some...it wont, unfortunately (gotta love Sephora's return policy) -Made skin VERY soft -Saw immediate improvements in fine lines -Made skin look bright, even,definitely firmer, healthily glowing :) -Out of all serums I've used to date, this has produced the most dramatic, quickest results. -Recommend for dry/normal/combination skin (would avoid t-zone in combo skin) I will update after I've used this longer, and also after I've tried some others. :)

Amazing

It's true, this stuff is absolutely amazing. One bottle of this lasted me about 8 months - I used 1 pump every night. I saw acne scars disappear, clear skin, smooth texture, all around loveliness. My skin looks good now but I may add this back into my regimen in the future.

this stuff is amazing! I'm 29 and started noticing fine lines and figured it was time to start using something. i also have oily acne prone skin and this actually seems to clear up my skin somehow! diminishes fine lines, shrinks pores and evens out skin tone. i use it once a day before going to bed. its pricey but totally worth every penny!

The 2nd day i used this stuff my co-worker said "what did you do, you look like you are glowing?" Seriously. I have been using it for about 2 1/2 weeks and love it. I haven't noticed any fading of the acne scars i have, but my overall skin looks clear and bright and smooth. It feels really goon on my skin and I don't feel like I need any additional moisturizer which the sales lady suggested. I am hoping that after the recommended 6 weeks I will see the scars fade. We will see!

It reallly does work wonders!

I wrote a review of this serum about 3 months ago with the intention of reviewing it again to see if it actually did anything. I have extremely oily blemish-prone skin. I wear foundation almost always as well as bronzer and blush and it took me ages to find a skin regime and the right makeup products so as to not break out or look like an oil slick. I wanted to use this serum to prevent future sun damage and hopefully to repair the damage that I have done to it for my high school years of tanning without sunblock. About three weeks into trying it my face began to break out in the usual spots: cheeks and chin, but to my relief my skin cleared up after about two weeks. Very gradually over the weeks and months my large acne scars and large pores became less noticeable. My whole face evened out with significant less discoloration. Also, my smile lines became less noticeable. I don't have any wrinkles as yet since I'm only 25 but I was beginning to see a few places on my face (esp. my smile lines) that would most likely wrinkle first and this serum helped "airbrush" my skin of those future wrinkles. My face has a nice glow to it- the brightening effect I think was the most apparent over the time I have been using it. The one cool thing about this serum is that I think it keeps me from getting sunburns/sun damage. I use it under my moisturizer and sunblock in the morning and no matter how long I'm outside, I still am as fair as I was in February. It is like an extra shield against sun damage and I love it! Now I put it on the tops of my hands to prevent my hands from wrinkling in the future. I can now definitely say that it DOES WORK. It takes time and I apply it both in the morning and at night under my other skin care products. It is pricey, but if this will keep me from getting wrinkles and sun damage AND will continue to brighten my face then it is worth it!! I will definitely buy it again when I run out even though the bottle is big and I only use a pea-size amount per application so I think the whole bottle will last 4+ months, which is great! So try it but stick to it because its it is a gradual change. Don't expect to look different in a few weeks, but if you do stick to it you'll love your new gorgeous skin!
