Lightweight....dosnt feel like im wearing anything at all. I usually reapply ONCE during the day. When it does eventually fade....it fades EVENLY....so i dont look like a weirdo with flakey color only around the outside of my lips. Im very fair skinned and ive always been terrified to do a "red lip".....because im more of a nude or neutral girl. Icon Pop....is PERFECT. Its a red....but not so overpowering that its the ONLY thing people see when they look at you. Ive ordered 2 more colors and cant wait to try them!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lia from Nice easy-wear matte! I purchased Clinique Pop Matte Lip in Peppermint Pop, which is a nice red-pink shade (more on the red side though). I've worn it a couple of times so far. Pros: - Goes on super smooth! - Definitely a matte appearance on the lip - Doesn't bleed or smudge excessively (you can survive without a lip liner if you're in a hurry) - Lasted through a snack and drink - Not as drying as other matte lipsticks I've tried Cons: - Not a truly matte lipstick in the sense that it does smudge a little - In the same sense, it is not as long wear as other matte lipsticks that I've used. In conclusion, a great lipstick if you want something that is comfortable to wear and easy to apply. If you need extreme long-wear then there may be better options.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ceklwu from Favorite Lipstick I really love this lipstick. I went to the counter and purchased Blushing Pop. It's a great neutral color for my fair skin/brown hair/brown eyes. I do not like having super noticeable lip color, so I was thrilled to find a beautiful matte color. With the primer, I do not even have to put anything under the lipstick. Hoping to go back and find another color for evening wear. Way to go, Clinique! Please keep this product around!

Rated 3 out of 5 by CanadianMother from Not my favourite I have received several different shades of this lipstick as samples. The colours are strong, and they do last quite a long time. I especially like Blushing Pop as a good everyday, nude shade. However, I really do not like the matte texture of this lipstick. It feels dry going on, and has no shine whatsoever. I cannot wear this lipstick without applying some lip gloss over top, or my lips feel dry and even a bit sore all day. I will continue to use the samples I received but I would not purchase this lipstick for this reason - I much prefer the Different Lipstick line even though those colours need to be reapplied more often.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nat from still not perfect I bought this one in coral pop and I love the color itself but. It is very juicy. It doesn't last as long as I would expect it to last but maybe just because it is so bright you can see right away when it is gone. Nevertheless I liked the color a lot so I got a second one. And despite it is being a primer, too, you still need a pencil for it because all tiny folds around your mouth get full of pigment and it looks terrible. I would like to try it with the lip pencil but unfortunately they don't have a correlating color. But it is great if you go out and it doesn't need to last all night.

This is the most beautiful and comfortable matte lipstick I have ever tried and it's the only one I can wear regularly without my lips being irritated. I like pink/violet colors and the selection is magnificent. This is what a modern matte lipstick should be like!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Whatsherface from Love them! I've never been a fan of matte lipsticks because they tend to be very drying, and someone like me, who tends to have dry lips, doesn't want that. I also don't like the "flat" look matte lipsticks give. I feel that they take away definition to the lips. But THESE lipsticks are amazing! They feel comfortable and moisturizing, they don't accentuate any dryness you might have on your lips, they don't look completely flat, and the colors are SO vibrant. I would say most of them you can definitely get true color pay off with just one swipe. A bit of a warning though, some of them do leave a quite vibrant stain behind on your lips and the stain doesn't look like the exact shade of lipstick you originally applied. Also, you will have to use a makeup remover to get the stain completely off your lips. Some people might see that as a good thing cause it says something about the color staying-power, and others might not like that. As far as shade description goes... Blushing Pop (on me) looked more brown and I couldn't really see any pink in it. Some people might not notice a difference, but Graffiti Pop and Rose Pop look VERY similar. Graffiti Pop had a bit more red, whereas Rose Pop has more pink. Shock Pop leaves an almost fluorescent pink stain behind. Cute Pop has more of a mauve look to it, definitely a favorite. Peony Pop is more of a mid-tone pink. Avant Garde Pop is definitely the darkest of all the shades. It's a beautiful vampy shade. I tried ALL of these shades, but I ended up keeping Rose Pop, Bold Pop, Peony Pop, Cute Pop, and Avant Garde Pop.

I'm a huge fan of matte lipsticks, but they leave my lips feeling like the Sahara Desert after a day of wear, this one is the only one that keeps me moisturized. Awesome color range and adorable packaging.
