Long Lasting

I’ve had this brush for over 10 years and it’s still in amazing condition! It’s super soft and doesn’t shed bristles. Worth the price. Hourglass Cosmetics will always be my go-to for quality makeup brushes!

I use it for blush and it applies it so beautifully. I don’t think this would work for liquid or cream products. It’s very fluffy so I think it’s better suited for powder. It has a nice weight to it. Definitely happy.

Terrible quality/crickets from Customer Service

Do not buy. Brush hairs started falling out after a few months of occasional use. Hourglass does not respond to customer service request. Don’t waste your money on buying items from company that doesn’t stand behind their (expensive) products.

Didn't work for me with liquid foundation.

I'm not a professional makeup artist and I didn't get this free. I bought it! I've given this brush many months of usage before reviewing. It does not work well with liquid foundations. There is way too much movement by the bristles when applying. Too floppy. I tried several techniques applying liquid foundation and determined I was putting pearls on a pig. No matter what I do it's still not going to work! I ended up with streaks or worse. I tried using it as a powder blush brush and that didn't work out either. I do have the hourglass ambient lighting and it seems to do better with that. I did not return it since I could make it function with the ambient lighting. There isn't a 'made in blah blah' on the brush anywhere. Which is odd. So I looked on the box and got out the magnifying glass so I could read the place or origin. Sorry I did.

Perfect blush brush

Just a perfect blush brush. Sleek, soft, effortless. Not much else to be said! Hourglass brushes are just unmatched in their elegance and usability.

Soft and Luxurious

This is such a lovely, soft brush. I use it for blush and it distributes product nicely and feels so luxurious on your skin. Exactly what I would expect of an Hourglass product.

Perfection

This brush is incredible and completely worth the price. It makes applying many Hourglass powders and foundations foolproof. I use very little product with this brush but achieve full and flawless coverage. The brush is extremely well made and after a month of daily use, I still haven’t seen a bristle fall out. I’ve washed it four times with Sephora brand brush wash and it cleans easily and has maintained its original shape completely. I’m pretty rough on brushes and clean them thoroughly weekly but I feel this brush will last a long time. FYI... I have many Hourglass brushes and they have all remained in perfect condition. A couple are two years old and like new.

The best brushes you can buy!

Never thought I’d use a brush over a Beautyblender, but I switched to a super-longwear foundation that was ruining sponges at a faster rate than usual, despite daily cleaning. I have and LOVE the Hourglass kabuki (No. 7), despite the ouchy price, and figured I may as well get a foundation brush I’ll almost certainly be happy with, since I’m so biased toward the Beautyblender. And as usual, Hourglass nailed it, and I’m thrilled with this purchase! It’s got a slightly flat/paddle shape but is also fluffy, so you get the best of all worlds. Result is comparable to the BB (and I have sensitive, grouchy skin). So, so soft, and the perfect density. Feels luxurious right down to the handle. The white bristles NEVER, EVER stain. Hourglass makeup is a bit too expensive for me to justify, but I am DEFINITELY willing to invest in the brushes (and when I can, the setting powder). Their brushes are just that good. My other favorites are Wayne Goss and IT Brushes, but nothing compares to the Hourglass line. I was so happy with this that I went and impulse-bought their crease brush.

I’ve had this brush for over 5-6 years and still love it. It makes your foundation look super natural and is also great as a blush! Super versatile and I’ve cleaned it so many times and the softness/quality does not change at all! Great investment :)
