This brush detangles and styles my hair so well! It helps define my curls, and it’s so easy to wash too. None of the bristles have broken! I love it so much!

For the most part I finger comb my curls however when I want a more smoothing effect the Tangle Teezer for thick and curly hair just glides through my hair so nicely without ripping and tearing my strands Honestly all this time I knew about Tangle Teezer but didn’t realize there are different kinds for different uses until watching an old Curly Proverbs YouTube video and she recommended the thick and curly Tangle Teezer so much thanks to her and Tangle Teezer

Love this product!

I am a Black woman with thick 3C, 4a hair and was really nervous about if this brush would work on my hair. However, I was thoroughly surprised! I used it for the first time tonight and have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend it! My hair was very tangled before and it got all the knots out. Definitely get you one!

Did Not Work

I remember using the original years ago. This time, I got the one for curly hair, but found the teeth kept bending instead of griping and gliding through my tangles. This one is advertised for thick, curly hair, but is useless for me and my hair texture.

Thicc hair is no issue

After trying and loving the original, I had to get the thick and curly (after I lost my first one). While the original set me on a path to less tangle and hairy mayhem, this one penetrates at an even deeper level.

Bristles are not strong enough

Bristles are not strong enough to brush through very thick hair.

Detangled and full of frizz

I was very excited to try out the Tangle Teezer for curly hair. I have to say I was impressed by how easily it detangled my curly hair before going into the shower, but it left it with a crazy volume and frizz. After washing my hair I used it again to detangle before applying my leave in and air drying my naturally curly hair as usual. Unfortunately, my hair got very frizzy and the curls were not as defined as they usually are if I just used my wide toothed comb. Disappointed because I really wanted this brush to work…

Good. Paler than I thought

Good. Paler than I thought in terms of the colour (looks more like salmon pink in real life to me). But appearances aside, it is a wonderful brush that both me and my girlfriend love.

Less hair fallout

I don’t ever want another brush. Detangling is the best thing especially now that my hair is growing back thicker and healthier since almost chopping it off back in 2020and less hair is in the brush since I started. Love your thick curls again, just like I love mine
