I’ve struggled to find a primer I liked once the Laneige Glowy Makeup Serum was no longer available. I felt the products I tried were cakey/thick-looking under my foundation and often smeared. I have been a long-time fan of Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation and decided to try a sample of the Luminous Silk Hydrating & Glow-Extending Primer. I was not disappointed! Great Long Lasting Primer. Love it.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review, After using this Armani Luminous Silk Hydrating Glow extending primer for a month, I am just in love with this primer. After wearing this, it just gives very natural but luxurious shine on the face and it's very consistent. Love the scent and its slim packaging, very easy to carry anywhere.

A must have if you have dry skin

I got this product as a trial size and I loved it made my skin super glowing and made my makeup look so much better I would recommend I have dry skin too

This is my first time using Armani primer. I’m a stickler for my favorite products, so I’ve been using mine for years. However, I’m open to trying new things, especially when it comes to changing up my makeup routine. I decided to start with the primer, and I’m really impressed. The package is convenient and easy to carry, making it perfect for travel or work. I used to use a glass container for my primer, but that was a hassle to bring with me. This primer is much more practical. The silk illuminating formula gives me a natural glow, so I don’t need to use highlighter anymore. It also helps to prevent my face from looking cakey or dry. The primer lasts as long as my previous one, so it could be a great replacement for both work and travel. I also like the light fragrance of the primer. It’s not overpowering, but it’s pleasant enough to wear all day. Overall, I highly recommend this Armani primer. It’s a great addition to my daily makeup routine and I’m glad I decided to try it.

Best primer I've ever tried

I got a sample size of this. The first time I tried it, as soon as I started applying my makeup over it ...I was blown away by how SMOOTH and silky my makeup was applying. This is Definitely one of those high end products that deserves the luxury tag. Amazing product. As soon as this sample small size is gone I'll be purchasing the full size. Best primer I've ever used, and I've tried most of them!

Not Oil Free

The highlights claim this product is oil free, but soybean oil is listed in the ingredients. Always make sure to read the full ingredient list.

So nice on my bare skin!

Haven’t tried under makeup yet, but it feels SO nice on my bare skin. My skin feels so hydrated soft. It’s also a little cooling in the heat which is nice. I’m excited to try it under my makeup.

HORRIBLE!!!!!

I got this as a sample with the Armani foundation, tried it on together and omg I’ve never seen my skin so bad. I wish I took pictures but I wanted it off asap. My skin looked dry and cakey, nothing was blending on top, and it was not luminous at all!!! I used a different primer and it looked 10x better pls don’t waste your money

This is not just another makeup step; it is an investment in that "skin-like" finish that Armani Beauty is famous for. If you want your makeup to last while having that coveted, natural, and healthy glow, this is the primer to get! It is worth every penny. I will be buying again and again and will be telling friends and family about it I love it so much .

A beautiful radiant primer

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I am a big fan of Armani’s beauty products so I was very excited to try the Luminous Silk Hydrating Glow Extending Primer and it didn’t disappoint. My combo skin has been especially dry for the past few months so matte primers haven’t been working for me. I have to be careful though with dewy, luminous products as I do get oily. I found this to be a great balance of radiance and hydration without making me look shiny or worsening my oily skin. It feels silky smooth when you rub it on your skin. It provides a subtle shimmer glow(nothing glittery or sparkly) so it’s perfect for daytime or nighttime wear. It pairs great with the Armani Luminous Silk foundation, but I’ve tried it with other foundations and it’s works well with basically any foundation or BB/CC cream I’ve used with it. It’s expensive, but the tube is decently sized. It has a pump top, with a cap(not a fan of this type of bottle as I always lose my caps but I can’t fault armani for that). It really does provide a beautiful, glowy finish to your skin. I don’t believe it’s super hydrating though. You’ll still need a good moisturizer, but it’s a great primer from a luxurious brand.

Pores and fine lines look softer, but skin still looks like skin—just fresher and more even. Worn under foundation, it helps everything blend effortlessly and stay put longer without caking or settling. On no‑makeup days, it gives a subtle, healthy glow that makes my wife’s complexion look rested and plump. A little goes a long way, so even though it’s a splurge, the tube lasts and feels worth the price. Overall, it’s become a staple step for the Mrs whenever a dewy, polished base is the goal. Armani for men. Armani for women. Both never let us down!

Light and hydrating primer but can be too shiny

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Held up pretty well day and night, keeping my blush in tact and from feathering. Lightweight with a slight fragrance, but goes on like a lotion serum. Made my pores appear smaller in my t-zone but can make oily skin even shinier after six hours. Had to use blotting paper because the glow looked a bit too oily.
